After a long two classes, Max finally
made it to the hellhole she calls home.
She had been thinking about Lucas asking
her to hangout since the topic was brought
up.
She just know Neil will say no, and probably
beat the life out of her strong,but sore body,
so then she questioned if her mom would let
her... Max walks into the living to see Neil
and Susan cuddling,"Gross" Max thinks to
herself.
"Hey mom, Do you think I can hang out with some friends?"Max says trying to ignore Neil's presence.Susan looks at Neil and then replied,
"Sure I think it's great for you to go out"Susan
Says.
"Okay great!" Max says as she walks into
her room again.Max went straight to her
closet trying to find something decent to
wear. "Hoodie? Ehh no I wear this one to
much" "ehh jeans? That doesn't sound bad".
After awhile, Max decided on a dark brown
sweater that had beige diamond shaped
patten in the middle, and some blue jeans.
Once Max was satisfied with her outfit she
walked into the bathroom. She brushed out
her hair and let it rest on her shoulders.
She grabbed a tote bag and packed her
Headphones, Phone ,Money,Charger,A
elastic band,Ect. Max then tied up her
brown converse and grabbed her skateboard
that was against her wall, as always.
She waved by to her mom, avoiding Neil's
side eyeing,and walked out the door. Once she got out the house and grabbed her headphones
and started to play 'Blondie' by Current joys.
Max rode down the street passing by people
walking dogs, Jogging , Raking leaves,and doing other activity's. It made her think about her dad. She always had the most fun with her dad.
Once she made it to the mall she saw them
waiting in the front. She quickly flipped her skateboard and walked up to them. "Hey max!"
Will Said. "Oh hi!" Max said waving. Everyone
else said there hi's and hellos and then there
was a awkward silence.
"Should we go in now..?" Dustin said breaking
the silence. "Good idea" Jane said still clinging
to Mike. We walked in this order, Mike and Jane in the front giggling, Dustin and Will rolling their eyes, And Max and Lucas in the back watching it go down .

"So what should we do first?" Dustin says
Questioning mostly Max,Lucas,and Will.
"Ooh we should go in that Graphic tee
store" Max says pointing towards the
store. Max feels Lucas eyes wondering
to her.
"I was thinking the same thing " Will says.
The group walks to the store but now Jane
and Mike are trailing behind. Max and Lucas
talked about whatever was on there minds while Dustin and Will argued about who knows what,
And Mike looking at Max and Lucas while Jane focused on Dustin and Wills arguing.
Once the group made it to the store Max walked around and Will went with her. " oh. my. god."
Will says with his mouth wide open.
Max walks over to what Wills looking at, "Oh
my god that's s a The clash T-shirt" Max says.
"You listen to them?!?" Will says turning to
the redhead. "Yes there music is good!" Max
says smiling.
"I love the clash so much the things I would do to get this T-shirt." Will says excited." I'll buy
it is you want Will" Max offers. Wills smile
widens," Really?! If so the next shop we
go to if u want something I'll buy it" Will says
jumping up and down.
"Okay!" Max says smiling. She grabs the T-shirt and they both walk to the checkout.
"That will be twenty dollars and fifty eight
cents please" The cashier woman says.
Max hands the woman the money and
she puts it into there store bags and hands it
to Will. "Thanks for shopping" The cashier
lady says as they smile and walk off.
"Thank you so much Max!" Will says giving her a side hug as they walk toward the group. "No problem, you really wanted it" Max says
smiling at Will. "Oh hey guys! What did you
get Will?" Lucas says as he looks at the two.
"Oh, Max got me a The clash T-shirt"Will says showing them the T-shirt."Dude That's cool"
Dustin says ."We should go to scoops ahoy
now" Mike and Jane suggest.
The group walks to the scoops ahoy. Max is still a little nervous around the group since they all get along so well. When we made it to the scoops
ahoy it was time to order. "Can I get 2 chocolate
icecream cones Mike says to the man at the counter.
"HENDERSON!" "STEVE" Dustin and
the man at the counter yell," it's just this thing
they do when they see eachother" Lucas says
reading through me. "Can I get a cookies and
cream Icecream please Mom" Dustin says bolding the word 'Mom',
"Don't push it Henderson." Steve says."What do you want Max?" Lucas asks while Will is ordering
"Uh just a vanilla cone please" Max says softly.
Lucas takes our order and Steve makes the cones.
Me and Will sit there kinda awkwardly as
everyone else talks. My back rests on the cool
seat as the the ice cream comes."Even though it's
Fall heres your icecream" Steve announced.Once Max got her Ice cream she started to eat it.
"So max,Where are you from?"Dustin asks.
The question completely caught Max off
guard. "Oh uh California" Max says looking
down after that. "Hey Mike my dad just
texted me I have to go home.. could you
take me?"
The Brunette says giving the raven haired boy puppy dog eyes. Jane seemed uninterested
in anything the group would talk about but
it's whatever, I guess.After the group, minus
Mike and Jane hungout some more
Lucas brought Max home.
"Thanks for inviting me" Max says smiling
"No problem Max" Lucas says waving off
as he rode the the road. Max unlocks the door
and gets hit with the smell of cigarettes and
Alcohol...
"Shit" Max thought to herself once she
heard the uneven steps walking on the
squeaky floor board. Max tried to run to
her room when she gets pulled by the back
of her collar. "Where do you think your
going?"Neil says in a creepy voice.
"T-to my room.." Max shudders. "Not so fast
you went out without asking, What to see
a boy huh?!?" Neil says as his temper rises.
"ANSWER MAXINE" Neil booms at the
terrified redhead. Neil bangs Maxs head
against the wall, Once max slid down the
wall Neil continued to constantly kick her stomach.
"My jobs done." Neil says and walks off.
Max crawls to her room as everything is
a blur in her vision.Max used all her strength
to stand and lock the door and put something
to block the door.
Max falls on her bed and let's out a sob. She cries until she can't anymore. Max felt numb, It's
crazy how she can go from having a favorable day to an unfavorable one. It's confusing to Max
the Universe just Doesn't want to side with Her...
