The next morning it was the opposite,everyone else was up... and Max and Lucas were sleep.
"Shhh hurry up and take the photo Mike" Dustin
whisper coming closer to the two teens sleeping.
Mike snaps a photo quickly and the group dashes
up the stairs for their life's sake, knowing Lucas
he could go off on Mike.The reason the four other
teens were trying to get a photo was Max and Lucas cuddling.
Lucas was laying on his back resting his head
on the arm rest as he draped his arm over Max
layed on his chest. "It was the most cutest
couple" in Janes & Wills words. A couple
minutes after the group had gotten upstairs,
The couple woke up.
Max walks into the kitchen with Lucas slowly
following behind running his eyes. The group all
smiles at the two and Max and Lucas immediately looks at each other. "Sooo LUMAX.
Is their anything you need to tell us" Mike says
smirking at the two.
Lucas gives Max a look to make sure it was okay with her, and then told them."FINALLY" Jane
and Will say in unison. Max laughs softly and
walks towards the two empty seats left at Mikes table. The 6 teens sat at the table eating cereal.
Max got interrupted by a text being displayed on
the Lock Screen of her phone. It was a text from
her father. It was about Billy through and that
I need to come home to be there for his hungover ass. Max rolled her eyes and scooped up the last
bites of her cereal.
"I think im gonna head out now, my dad needs me" Max says as she looks towards the group.
Lucas's eyes bulk out his head as he hears the word "dad " and immediately looks at Max.
She gives him a reassuring look but Lucas doesn't buy it."I think I'm going to head out to" Lucas says walking towards the kitchen sink. All expect Mike decide it's best to go home now and head out the wheelers home.

Max and Lucas are now walking
to the Mayfield/ Hargrove residence.
"You know you didn't have to walk me to my house Lucas" Max says kicking small rocks that
the couple passed by on the pavement. "Yeah i did, I'm going to keep you safe Max"Lucas says
squeezing her hand. Max's phone dings once again from her Dad and she opens it.
NEIL
"YOU HAVE LESS THAN 2 MINUTES TO GET HOME OR ELSE YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!"
Max
I'm almost home!
Max types with a sigh and continues to kick the little pebbles that they occasionally passed by.
Soon the couple made it to her door step and she started to walk towards it." Bye Lucas" max says as she waves before she enters the house. "Bye max!" Lucas says waving with a cheeky smile on his face .

As soon as Max walked into the house she smelt
a mixture of Alcohol, sweat, and cigarettes, it wasn't a pleasing scent what so ever."About time you got back, you almost missed your time limit"
Her father says as he walks past her slightly tumbling her off of her feet.
Max decides to walk to her room instead of waiting around. She walks in her room and notices a picture with her dad ripped to pieces
and all that's connected is the heads .
Max eyes started to water at the sight and she soon realized He didn't need help with Billy being hangover, he wanted her to see this .
Her father soon walked past the door with a
Loud chuckle once he saw max crying over
the photo."Maybe it's a sign,Maxine."Her father says with a loud slam of his bedroom door.
Max Luckily kept a photo of the two in the back of her phonecase since this was bound to happen.
She unlocked her phone and scrolled across her
contacts until she reached a name.
Steve Harrington,the one person besides Lucas,she knew she could trust with her life.
She has Steve for awhile but lost connection since he moved here, it was the most hardest thing for poor little Maxine to take in.
She hopes his number has stayed the same after all these years and hopefully he remembers her.
Steve knew all her family problems including the
dangerous ones.
It would be a shame if he didn't.
