Max had woken up to the smell of
hairspray and loud rock music.In the Mayfield/Hargrove household that means Billy's going on a date.
Max grabs her phone off the nightstand
and checks the time, 12:42 pm. "God did
I really sleep that long.." max questions
herself.
Max head whips around to her bedroom
door as she hears loud banging on the door.
Max starts to panic, "Shit shit shit, it's Neil "
Max thinks to herself. "OPEN THE DOOR
MAXINE.NOW" Neil's voice booms from
outside the door.
Max hides her phone and makes her
way to the door. She unlocks the door
reluctantly and faces the older man.
"Yes?" Max says as her voice shakes a bit.
"DO YOU KNOW. HOW LONG U HAVE
BEEN SLEEPING" Neil yells at her face,
At this point Max is scared. "Yes sir" Max
says as she backs away a bit.
"HOW DARE YOU I HAVENT EATEN SINCE YOUR MOTHER IS AT WORK" Neil says without thinking twice. Neil then grabs Max's hoodie sleeve "DONT THINK YOUR SAFE YOU LITTE SHIT".
Neil pushes her towards the foot of the bed, watching everything fall into place,Max hits the edge of her bed with a thud.Max is holding back tears to not get a farther worse beating.
Neil finally walks away from her door way.
Max slowly gets up since her body is sore,It's unfortunate she can't say this is the first time she has dealt with this.Time after time she has dealt with Neil,And Billy, and then Neil again.
Max makes a quick decision to leave this
hellhole she calls her home,Max grabs
a yellow sweatshirt, to cover the bruising
she's going to have.
Max quickly grabs some blue baggy jeans
and runs to the bathroom to be quick.She
takes a quick shower to try to help the soreness and gets ready in the bathroom.
Max brushes her ginger hair and puts it on her shoulders. She brushes her teeth quickly and runs back into her room.Max quickly packs a tote bag with a charger,Her phone, Headphones,ect.
She grabs her skateboard that was leaning
against her bedroom wall. The red head jumps out the window safely, landing in the grass. She puts in her headphones and heads to Starcourt.
The song,New flesh by current joys plays out of her headphones. She looks around at the
scenery, she always has had a thing for nature.
It could just be the leaves or the sunset that would make her happy. The Smallest things
make her happy.

After awhile, Max makes it to the mall.
She doesn't know what she's gonna do
here but probably the arcade. She was
walking when she passed a clothing store.
They had graphic tees, Baggy jeans,Jewelry,ect.
Max debates if she should go into the store or not, but once she sees the phone cases she's certainly going in. Max walks to phone case
section. She decides to buy a clear one with
blue outlining on it.
She walks out the store happy she had
time to buy it and swaps the old case for the new one. Max went to the arcade and played games for a little.
