The first bell rang, and students settled into their respective seats.
If there was anything the students feared, it was the volume of sanctions deducted from their records.
Tantiana University was well-known for its exemplary student conduct and high number of achievers.
Mark calmly walked past the entrance gates, acknowledging the guard with a nod. His expression remained still and confident as he moved along with the crowd, hoping to reach his class before the teachers.
Some greeted him, and he responded with a polite nod.
Mark Lee was the Student Council President.
An intimidating alpha who had received the most votes during the council election, he was famed for his strong leadership as Vice President in previous years.
The student body looked up to him, especially those who longed to catch a piece of his gaze—icy, yet undeniably captivating.
He rounded his locker and passed by some students who tried to talk to him, but Mark merely gave them a glance before proceeding on his way.
Needless to say, Mark was used to these scenarios in his daily student life. Though somewhat annoying and invasive, he had perfected the art of controlling his emotions, earning his reputation as intimidating and stone-faced.
Dismissing confessions had become routine. A never-ending cycle.
"Mark, good morning," a girl stood in his way.
Omega, he noted.
"It's my birthday this Saturday. I was hoping you could... come?" she asked, batting her eyelashes.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not fond of big parties." He glanced at her name tag. "Seoyoung, happy birthday in advance."
And this certainly wasn't the first birthday invitation he had received that week.
Mark walked to his class as the second bell echoed in the hallways, watching the remaining students hurry inside their classrooms.
This building was a little special—the Business Major Building.
Perhaps because the council president was here, no one dared challenge the school rules.
But of course, that didn't mean the classroom was silent inside. Not his classroom, that is.
Because the moment he stepped in, a loud voice greeted him.
From someone he knew very well.
He sighed.
"What is going on now?"
___
"Elle, hurry up!" Chenle called from the living room.
"Le, can you pack the sandwiches and biscuits? I'll eat later," the frantic girl asked as she grabbed her bag.
"When are you even going to eat?"
