They were locked inside Danielle's room.

No one spoke. No one moved. They were all still trying to process the fact that Jung Jaehyun—the famous model, the alpha with a face sculpted by the gods—was in the same house as them. Under the same roof. Breathing the same air.

Danielle, however, was a different case. Her entire body was stiff, her cold palms pressed firmly against her flushed cheeks, as she struggled to steady her breathing.

She had just embarrassed herself in front of her biggest celebrity crush.

How the hell was she supposed to face him now?

"He's... wow," Renjun finally broke the silence, still in awe.

"I need to remind myself that I have a mate. Wait—" Giselle muttered to herself before hurriedly calling her alpha.

"Elle," Haechan rolled his eyes, waving a hand in front of her. "DANIELLE!"

"Shut up," she groaned into her pillow. "There's no way."

"Can you set me up with him?" Chenle quipped, wiggling his brows.

"No way! Me first!" Renjun shoved him aside.

"Excuse my sexy hips, I'm riding first," Haechan grinned mischievously.

"No one's riding anyone, what the hell," Danielle groaned again, face-down in defeat. "Kill me."

"Stop being dramatic and just talk to him," Renjun nudged her side. "Ask him why he's here."

"If he's living here, doesn't that make you two live-in partners?" Chenle teased.

"Shut up, I already look like a tomato!"

"Alright, sweets, I'm outta here. Whoo, that was a challenge." Giselle wiped imaginary sweat from her forehead before glancing at Danielle. "So, are you going to hide here until Sunday?"

Danielle sat up, her lips puckered in a deep pout, her eyes almost brimming with unshed tears.

"I'm shy."

They burst into laughter.

"You don't have to be; you're fine," Renjun reassured her.

"Yeah, your reaction was normal. If it were me, I'd have fainted already," Haechan added.

"But what if he's judging me?"

"I doubt it. He looked happy to see you," Giselle said, earning raised eyebrows from the group. "Alpha instincts," she explained with a shrug.

Danielle rolled her eyes. "Please, I don't want to embarrass myself even more."

"Then don't," Giselle replied simply. "Just be yourself."

Danielle gave her a deadpan stare. "Being myself means more embarrassment. Do you want me to run my mouth like a machine gun in front of him?"

"Why not? That's you. It's better than pretending to be someone else. Us alphas prefer people who are real. If anything, he'll find you cute."

"Why?!"

Giselle shrugged. "I find your stubbornness cute, too."

"But we're—"
