Christmas—their first official holiday together.

Mark and Danielle are soon joined by their families, both sides having agreed to meet and celebrate the holiday at the Yoon household. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, filled with bright smiles and cheerful conversations as their families unite through the relationship of their beloved children.

However, Giselle is still in Japan with Yuta. It has become a tradition for the mates to spend the holiday together with both of their families simultaneously. Since they had spent Christmas with the Lees last year, this time, it is only fair that they celebrate with the Nakamotos.

Meanwhile, Haechan had been called home early in the morning. The only thing they can do now is hope that nothing unfortunate happens within his family.

As the evening progresses, the families gather around a long, festive table, indulging in a delicious Christmas feast. The air is filled with laughter and lively discussions, leaving little to no escape from continuous chatter. Mark and Danielle, as always, are seated beside each other, as if those very spots belong to them now.

Mark, ever the attentive mate, ensures Danielle is well taken care of, serving her food and refilling her drink before she even has the chance to ask. His devotion to her does not go unnoticed by the Yoons, just as Danielle has earned a special place in the hearts of the Lees.

With mates regarded as married couples by nature, it isn't long before the parents bring up an inevitable question—do they have plans to live together?

It is, in fact, the perfect time to ask. The mates have recently discussed this topic themselves.

"We agreed to move in together at the start of the second semester," Mark explains. "The pressure will be doubled then, and we need each other to stay sane."

Their parents exchange delighted looks at the news.

"Have you looked into available places yet?" Irene asks, her concern evident.

Ethan chimes in, "I can refer them to a good place. Son, do you remember your cousin Taeyong's residential land? I can speak to your uncle about securing the upper floor for you."

Mark hesitates, rubbing the back of his neck. "Dad, that would be embarrassing. At least let us pay for it."

Claude chuckles. "I'm sure Taeyong will refuse to take your money in the first place." He then turns to Irene. "Don't worry. The building is safe. They'll be in VIP accommodations, and the security and services there are top-notch."

"I just want to make sure they're comfortable and safe," Irene sighs. "It's their first time living together. They're still young mates."

Mark glances at Danielle, silently asking for her opinion. She simply nods in agreement, still chewing her food. He fondly smiles before turning back to their parents.

The deal is unofficially sealed.

Gift-giving follows, and it is nothing short of heartwarming. Each present is given with sincerity, but it holds an even deeper meaning for the young mates, as this marks their first Christmas together. Every detail of the night is etched into their memories, something they will cherish for years to come.

Their love is palpable, felt in every glance, touch, and word exchanged. Their parents notice it, too.

For the Lees, pride swells in their hearts as they witness the man Mark has become.
