The weekend arrived, and the omegas were already wreaking havoc inside Giselle's car, singing at the top of their lungs with absolutely no regard for melody.
Who would have guessed that their chaotic energy would lead them to Lee's front porch at the crack of dawn, yelling out the female alpha's name like a bunch of restless kids?
Of course, Danielle had already gotten permission from Claude, and her mother, being as easygoing as ever, had no objections. In fact, she was all too familiar with messy mornings like these and even had the foresight to prepare the omegas some toast.
When they finally stormed into Giselle's room, she was met with a bombardment of pillows and deafening invitations to get up.
It was just a bonus that the alpha could never get mad at them—she had, after all, signed up for this madness the moment she befriended them.
"Should I wear my swimsuit?" Haechan asked, his voice practically vibrating with excitement.
"It's a pool, not a beach," Chenle shot back, unimpressed.
"Okay, thanks for ruining my main character moment."
"Will you two shut up? I'm trying to sleep here," Renjun grumbled from his spot on the seat, inching further to the side as if trying to escape their noise. His action left a conspicuously large space between him and the two bickering omegas.
Meanwhile, Giselle, who was multitasking by driving with one hand and eating a sandwich with the other, turned to Danielle.
"Did you tell your mom we're coming?"
"Yeah," Danielle replied, before frowning. "And she's acting weird."
Giselle hummed in curiosity.
Danielle pulled out her phone and flashed the screen toward her, displaying a long list of messages from her mother—each one littered with excessive smiling emojis.
"She keeps sending these since last night," Danielle said, brows furrowed in deep suspicion.
Giselle let out a laugh. "Maybe she's just excited. Don't act like you don't know your own mom—you're literally a carbon copy of her."
Danielle pouted. "Yeah, and that's exactly why I'm suspicious. What if she brought a man home?"
"You wouldn't want that?" Giselle asked, raising a brow. "Ever since your parents divorced, we haven't seen Auntie with a partner. If she does bring someone home, wouldn't it be better to consider it for her happiness?"
Danielle huffed. "So, what? Are you saying I don't bring her happiness?"
Giselle chuckled. "Oh, you do. But you bring both happiness and stress."
"Giselle Lee!"
"She's right," Chenle mused from the backseat, only to be met with a fast (and not-so-gentle) smack from Danielle.
Surprisingly, they managed to reach the Yoon residence without anyone sustaining injuries.
As soon as Giselle parked the car in the driveway, the group scrambled out, carrying their overnight bags and making their way toward the front door.
