"hey, why are you jealous?" changbin teased hyunjin in their mind link. the three shifters, beomgyu, yeonjun, and changbin, stayed in their wolf form, leaving minho and hyunjin in their human form.

the two newcomers, taehyun was walking beside chan while kai is piggyback riding onto seungmin's back. chan was walking beside beomgyu and taehyun while felix is riding - more like sitting on changbin's wolf's back. they teased them for that but felix just shyly giggled and petted changbin's fur all throughout the walk, he wasn't heavy to say. jisung is holding onto yeonjun's wolf as well while minho and hyunjin took the lead.

"shut up, seo." hyunjin barked back in their mind link, he eyed the gray - white wolf of changbin and glared at it when their eyes met. the wolf only growled teasingly making felix let out a small squeak with the sudden vibrations from his seat.

"hey, mister red haired shifter!" kai called out, hyunjin raised his eyebrows as he tilted his head to face the vampire.

"nice hickey you got there." seungmin immediately dropped kai and the other fell on his butt on the ground.

"ouch?!" kai sniffles but both hyunjin and seungmin are frozen, looking at each other. the others stopped walking as well and curiously scanned hyunjin and yes, there are a couple of hickeys scattered below his neck and collarbones.

"wild." taehyun whistled. jisung can't hold back the snort that left his mouth. both felix and chan have their mouth agape and minho was also on the same state as the two royals.

"kim seungmin .." hyunjin squinted his eyes at the brown haired vampire who audibly gulped and laughed nervously.

"i - uh ... haha i didn't do that ..." seungmin denied but hyunjin was already stepping forward towards him. kai hurriedly stood up and hid behind chan but still peaking for the scene.

"really, huh?" hyunjin tutted.

"oh my gosh, if you two starts making out right now, i swear i'm gonna pull my eyes out.' jisung groaned and dramatically leaning towards yeonjun who only growled lowly.

"you can kiss alpha minho though." with huening kai's suggestion, the topic was diverted. the stares suddenly shifted towards jisung and minho who's looking at kai with wide eyes.

"what?" kai innocently pouted, chan can't help the small smirk in his lips and so does seungmin.

"why ... why the heck w-would you say that?" jisung stuttered.

"obviously, you two are giving heart eyes and alpha minho keeps on staring at your lips. he's looking for an invitation to kiss you so i suggested it." jisung coughed and shook his head in disapproval but no words left his mouth.

"sorry to interrupt, guys, but i think we can't go straight to your pack ..." taehyun suddenly spoke from his place, making everyone turn their heads towards him.

"they're near." chan appalled.

"let's change routes, let's go straight east, the village of the united is located there. they could keep us sheltered for the meantime." minho's voice suddenly hardened, leadership aura radiating around him.

"yeonjun ... run back to our pack. warn them, beomgyu and you will keep us updated, knowing your mind link knows no distance." hyunjin ordered next, yeonjun's wolf only growled and bowed his head.

"can i take your coats? to distract them with a different direction of scent." minho approached the vampires, all of them obeyed and took their coats off and minho securely placed it on yeonjun's wolf. the wolf already knows what minho is planning. the next thing they saw is his wolf running away, straight back to their home.

"taehyun and kai, you can ride on beomgyu's back. chan -" minho helped the two vampires ride onto beomgyu and taught them how to hold onto the wolf securely.

"chan, you can sit with felix on changbin's or seungmin in hyunjin's back." the red haired shifted as well leaving minho on his human form. seungmin immediately petted the blonde fur of hyunjin's wolf and sat carefully onto its back.

"i'll uh go with felix." chan shifted awkwardly and sat behind felix and held onto the blonde haired vampire.

"sorry." chan mumbled at felix who only shrugged.

"jisung ... " the blue haired was startled when minho called him.

"your choice, hyunjin or ... me." the alpha coughed, trying to straighten his posture.

kai giggled softly behind them but instantly shuts up when taehyun glared at him.

"you." jisung smirked and made his way towards minho, the alpha immediately blushed and shifted as well.

the wolf lowering a bit since his wolf is much bigger than the rest with them, jisung carefully sat on his back as well and petted the soft fur. with this method of traveling, the vampires' scent would be covered with the wolves' so they can distract and confuse those who are looking for them.

"sung." chan called out and threw a small bottle towards jisung's direction, the blue haired swiftly caught it without looking.

"what's that?" changbin asked in their mind link. minho's wolf tilted its head to peak at the bottle that jisung was holding. it contains a thick looking purple liquid and it's still full.

"it's a scent blocking potion, jisung's scent is very intense so he need it more than us." chan explained, as if reading the wolves' mind as well.

jisung immediately drank half of the bottle's content and hid the bottle on his pants' pocket.

"let's go?" felix asked as he still pets changbin's wolf.

"yeah ... let's go." seungmin hugged hyunjin's wolf and tapped it twice, telling that they're set to go.

"hold on tight, kids." chan looked at everyone and smiling at them before the wolves' started running towards east.

the village of the united is a village for all beings and kinds, humans, wolves, vampires, faeries, sirens, and other beings are all united and lives harmoniously in their big village. their leader, kim namjoon, a wolf shifter as well, is a great man. minho knows him since their pack and the village are close acquaintances.

chan knows about it as well, it is a very known village as well for it's agenda and it's purpose, they're remarkable in their place. but he's not quite sure if they would accept them, since wolves and vampires are true enemies and seeing them together causes chaos.
