after days of traversing through the enchanted forest and facing multiple challenges of the elemental disturbance, the group finally emerged at the outskirts of minho's pack territory. the air was thick with anticipation as they approached the boundary line, the scent of familiarity and belonging washing over them. yeonjun, the first to return home, was quick to greet them.

"welcome back," yeonjun's voice was warm, his eyes holding a mix of relief and concern. "we've been keeping an eye on your progress."

minho's eyes softened as he exchanged a glance with him and to his second-in-command, changbin. "thanks, yeonjun. it's good to be back."

yeonjun's gaze then shifted to the other members of the group, the vampires and the wolves who had ventured into the enchanted forest together. "our alpha has been eagerly awaiting your return. he's been quite interested in meeting the royal vampires."

with a nod, chan stepped forward. "lead the way then."

as they walked deeper into the territory, they were met with curious gazes from other pack members. the wolves whispered among themselves, their eyes lingering on the unfamiliar vampires who walked among them.

eventually, they reached the heart of the pack's territory, where a grand mansion stood. it was larger than the others, surrounded by lush gardens and clearings. as they approached, the door swung open, and a tall figure emerged.

taemin, the alpha of the wolf pack, stood there with an air of authority. his silver eyes were sharp as they landed on the group, his expression unreadable. he studied them for a moment before a faint smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

"minho, my son, it's good to see you safe and sound," taemin's voice was deep and commanding. "and these are the royal vampires, i presume?"

minho nodded respectfully. "yes, alpha taemin. allow me to introduce them."

one by one, the group members introduced themselves, their voices a mixture of respect and wariness. taemin's gaze shifted between them, his silver eyes seemingly piercing through their very souls.

after the introductions were done, taemin's gaze settled on jisung, finding his aura mysterious just like how minho saw him the first time.

"i see. i have asked for you to come here to our territory because i wanted to make truce with our kinds. minho here, my son," he paused as he gestured over the mentioned wolf.

"is a very kind lad and his ways are much different than mine and as a pup, he already knew what he wanted and now, as my last remaining years as the alpha, i wanted to give him his first choice and decision and that is to make peace with the vampire clan." taemin smiled after his warm speech as he looked fondly towards minho who's eyes are wide as he listened to his father speak.

"thank you, alpha." minho bowed down and sighed happily, relief washing over him as he glances behind him where the others are also relieved from the alpha's words.

"and so, we come seeking a truce. we believe that the constant conflict between our species has brought us nothing but pain and suffering. we wish to put an end to the bloodshed and find a way for both vampires and wolves to coexist in harmony." a female shifter spoke as it stepped beside the alpha. her long luscious hair was the first thing that caught everyone's attention before her kind visuals that left the vampires in awe.

"luna jieun." all the wolves bowed down and the vampires following behind.

"mother." minho breathed out, a small smile gracing his features as he stepped closer, the luna embracing him immediately and kissing his forehead.
