Chapter 32

"Your star?" Arya asked, confused on who this new person is.

"Murthy Empire's only daughter! Nandani Murthy! My star!" Manik exclaimed in anger

The wheels in Arya's head started to turn and he finally put one on one and got the answers. The way Manik would look at Nandani's baby photo and have some recognition in the eyes. The way baby Nandani would call Manu in her sleep years back. Or the way baby Nandani would innocently ask where Manu and Cabu went and would they come play with her. Everything suddenly made sense. They always assumed it were her imaginary friends. An after effect, a coping mechanism after the traumatic event.

They never realized that all this while the baby Nandani was asking for actual alive people!

"Are you Manu?" Arya asked now understanding everything.

"Huh? Y-yes I am. How do you know what my star called me?" Manik asked now all confused.

"As I said, you are dumb"

"And you are rude af"

"At least I'm not dumb"

"I don't even understand why you are calling me dumb!" Manik asked raising his hands up in the air exclaiming.

"Because the star you have been in so much love with was right in front of you all this while and yet you still failed to identity your love. Is this how much your love is strong? Some love that is."

"What does that mean?"

"Nandani Oberio is Nandani Murthy" Arya said coolly.

Manik stared at Arya for a whole two minutes and then rammed him into the wall and screaming at him while cursing him. "What the fuck do you mean she is a Murthy!?"

The impact of the ramming caused the nearby lamp to collapse and break and a painting that is hung on the wall to fall off. Making loud shattering sounds. Abhi and Mukti came rushing into the room. Following with Maddy, Cabir, Armaan, Druv, Alya, Diana, Ishaani. Everyone seemed extremely alarmed at Manik's aggressive behavior.

"Don't fucking fuck with me Arya" Manik yelled at Arya, holding him onto the wall by his collar.

"Why would I even fuck with you? Let me go you asshole!" Arya screamed back at Manik fighting against his hold.

Quickly Cabir, Druv and Abhi came by and separated the two fighting people.

"Could you guys for once sit and talk like civilized humans?" Diana demanded, staring at the two aggressive people while she stood her stance with folded arms across her chest, annoyed.

"It was him that started this time. I didn't do anything babe" Arya whined to Diana.

"He is fucking up with me" Manik huffed.

"What did you say to make him mad Arya?" Diana asked him.

"I told him Nandani Oberio is Nandani Murthy" Arya repeated his sentence again.

"WHAT!?" Everyone apart from Abhi, Diana, Maddy and Mukti screamed.

"I don't think that's how someone should drop the bomb.." Maddy said looking around, chuckling.

"How is it even a bomb? We knew it from the start" Arya whined again.

"We knew, they didn't." Abhi said.

"Why are you so calm?" Cabir asked, looking directly at Mukti.

"Umm..because I know?" Mukti said looking around while others looked at her in shock. "5mins back"

"Don't joke around with something like this." Manik grumbled in anger

"He's not. It's the truth" Mukti informed Manik.

"We have proof as well." Diana said while taking out her mobile and opening up a locked folder. And passing it to Manik. "The birth certificates"

"I- Nandani is my star? I didn't cheat on my star?" Manik said with a broken and relief filled voice.

"Wait, if Nandani is Murthy, and Murthy's only had a single child..then who is Abhi?" Druv asked, finally having his brain gears moving.

"I'm a Thakkar." Abhi said with a small smile.

"Thakkar? Like Thakkar Empire? That went almost extinct and was taken over by Oberio Empire two and half decade back?" Cabir asked looking at Abhi in shock.

"Yes, technically speaking, we never took over it. It was always Abhi's, our parents handled it until Abhi could handle it by himself." Arya said stating out the facts.

"Does that mean none of you are related to each other, but still related to each other?" Alya asked still confused.

"Yes, you could say that" Armaan spoke up for the first time.

"Me, Nandani and Arya are not really blood related. Nandani is my cousin. Her parents adopted me, after mine died in a car accident. And Arya's parents adopted me and Nandani when her's also died in a car accident." Abhi repeated again.

"I..I don't understand" Alya said looking all confused and lost.
