Despite Robert's better judgment, Robert found himself keeping an eye out for simon. On his daily activities, he would glance around; wondering if he would catch any sign of Simon anywhere. There were none, not much to Robert's surprise. He began to feel frustrated with himself, despite everything that had happened between them; he still cared about simon. Deep down inside himself, he worried for the bastard, wondering about how simon must be feeling- if it was anything like gary described it then robert knew how bady simon must be suffering. 

Robert didn’t tell anyone about this though. Not Mary, not his family, not even his band mates. He felt a sense of shame, because all of them knew how sour his friendship was with Simon towards the end- but Robert also knew that he was a good portion of the reason why their friendship had failed. Robert was stubborn, angry and refused any help Simon ever offered him. 

After a few days since Gary appeared at Robert's house, Robert had almost given up on randomly catching a glimpse of simon. He wanted to help the other, though he had responsibilities he needed to take care of. Like tonight, Mary had asked him to go to the cinema, to watch the latest flick that had been released with her and a few of her friends.

Robert now found himself in the crowded room, full of couples and large groups of young people. Robert had made sure to dress according to what Mary desired, a pair of black trousers, chunky black shoes, a white t-shirt and a black cardigan she gifted him. Robert glanced around, letting out a soft sigh before turning his attention back to mary; who was happily talking away with her friend. Robert couldn’t remember the name of said female, but he was happy that Mary was too preoccupied to notice Robert's growing nerves.

Something about this evening made Robert feel… fidgety. He wanted to hurry up and get the tickets so they could sit down. 

“Robert! Oi, mate!” a voice called, pulling Robert from his thoughts. He turned his head to the left, seeing the familiar face of lol and porl, along with porl’s sister! Robert felt his whole self brighten up in an instant. “Hey!” Robert called back, waving his hand with a bright smile spread across his face. The three soon made their way over to Robert, joining the group.

Lol smiled at Robert, arm thrown casually around girl's shoulder. “How are you mate? Come to see the new movie?” lol asked happily, practically glowing with happy vibes. 

Robert nodded his head, feeling Mary's arm slip around his. “I am. Mary said it would be a good watch, and I can't say no to her, so here I am.'' Robert said sheepishly, a near embarrassed look appearing on his face. 

“Mn! Would you like to join us perhaps? The more the merrier!” Mary asked brightly, beaming up at me lol. 

Lol chuckled, removing his arm from porl’s shoulders and nodding his head. “Sure! As long as the others dont mind.” lol said, looking at porl who simply nodded his head in approval. 

Robert smiled and patted Mary's arm, removing himself. “I've got to take a leak- here’s my wallet… get whatever you like darling.” Robert said, placing a small kiss upon Mary's forehead before excusing himself to go find the bathroom. Robert tried to politely slip past the many bodies crowding the area, muttering soft ‘excuse me’ and ‘sorry’ along the way until he finally managed to make it to the bathroom. 

Robert closed the door behind him, and sighed softly. He glanced around, seeing the partially empty room and swallowing thickly.  He walked over to the stall and pushed it open, subconsciously glancing over his shoulder before entering and closing it behind him. Robert sat down, sighing softly and pulling out his pack of cigarettes, placing one between his lips and lighting it. 

Robert took in a deep breath and sighed softly, relaxing his nerves. Sometimes, not all the time- but sometimes Robert needed a moment to breathe from Mary and her friends. Robert loved her dearly, he had her to thank for many things- though sometimes Robert needed a break from her constant nagging and neediness. Robert could never tell her that though, or she might lose her cool again like she did previously.
