Chapter 9

LEXA

It was a strange week, on one hand I was on the roof replaying our moment. What started as steamy teasing foreplay, ended up being a mind-blowing sex experience and on the other hand I'm losing my teacher. Clarke has been distance, well you wouldn't know because she acted the same as always. But with what we shared I feel like she's faking it.

Even during my project she hardly said much, brought in another teacher to work with me closely while she finished up with everyone else. She wasn't passive or anything like that just different.

Now we are about to board the bus and in three hours will be in polis. Already group texted my friends and mom I'm on my way. I turn around in time to see a man with curly hair and a somewhat messy beard. His wearing a big smile that is sure to get the ladies. The three ladies Miss Reyes, Miss Blake and Clarke stop talking to focus on the man. He ruffles Miss Blake's hair, wraps his hand around Clarke's waist picking her off the ground. She's beaming with a smile as well. They must all know each other. He hugs everyone else but there is something vibing with Clarke and the man.

"Who is that?" Luna and the girls look behind.

"Oh that's Miss Blake's brother." Ontari says. "His yummy right?"

"Is it just me all does he and Miss Griffin seem over friendly?" maybe I should shut up.

Luna leans her elbow on my shoulder. "Apparently they were once a couple. At least that's what my mother says anyway. She couldn't shut up when they broke up," she looks at the others. "You guys remember how happy she was, I'm telling you she needs meds."

This man is big and strong, I bet his packing in those trousers. Did she compare me to him? "So your mom is friends with them?"

"Oh her mother wants more than friendship, I bet she'll have an excuse to come with us, just to be close with Griffin." Ontari adds, high fiving Costia.

"I'm betting on that, now let's get on the bus before all the good seats are gone" says costia, she smiles softly at me before leaving with Ontari, leaving me with Luna. She sighs and steps in front of me.

"You nervous," she asks. "I am, what if mine isn't great I mean everyone makes a volcano." I smile, Luna is so indecisive she had so many plans. In the end Clarke just chose the Volcano for her. "They might think it's a common thing and we won't get the points we need."

"First of all I need you to relax." I start walking into the bus, Clarke will soon come in I want to sit wear I can see her.

"What's the second thing?"

"Sitting down." she chuckles meeting me with a hip push. These girls are not so bad maybe I can....oh but there is more than one secret. Anyway like Echo says one is not obliged to sharing every damn thing.

Ontari was right Luna's mom called Nylah joined us before we left. Unfortunately for her she sat with Raven while Clarke sat with that man. Our eyes met briefly, it felt like moments in time.

As soon as we got to the hotel, I remembered why this is my home. Breathing in. "Lexa Komhades!" a voice called. It can only belong to Echo. She's the wild one.

I quickly spot her near the entrance. Rushing over we hug jumping about and giggling. You're supposed to be in class." I say.

"Lexa stay with the group." Miss Blake calls. "Everyone together get inside, I don't want anyone moving away from the group."

Echo pulls me in since we are near the door. "So who is your sexy girlfriend?"

"The blonde." We look back and see Nylah with Clarke. "The blonde, blonde." Looking at the tight Purple jumpsuit she's wearing.
