Chapter 8

When I woke up in the morning I felt refreshed. My night was free of any night terrors and it's that's the first time in a long time. Besides when I slept in David's car something in the back of my head muttered. god now I'm hearing voices? I need help. before getting in the shower I grab a pair of black high wasted shorts with big buttons on the side. in paired them with a with crop too with a panda face on the front and black and white vans. For my makeup I did too eye liner and dark eye shadow. I let my hair fall into it's natural waves. I felt adorable truly adorable. Not like hot but like little kids adorable. I considered people may make fun of me for looking like a little kid but I don't care. it's totally me. I glanced at the clock and realized I was late. I went by my nightstand grabbing my phone but I seen a text. Don't worry im outside From david. I couldn't help the smile that tugged at my lips. I noticed a shine beside my phone and gasp. I almost forgot about the princess necklace. There it sat in all it's shiny glory. I picked it up looking at it before clasping it around my neck. I happily skip down the stairs grab a poptart and try running out the door not chancing my parents being home. I open my door and hear a cough behind me. "crap" I mutter. almost made it I laugh. I turn around smiling at my oh so lovely mother. Her stern hazel eyes burn into mine and I look her over trying not to look into them. I notice she curled her dark brown hair and still wearing her pajamas. Must have been taking a day in. "is that the boy?" My mom asks pointing I the car. this is risky so I nod. "If I wasn't in my pajamas I would go out and demand to meet the boy calling my daughter princess. but at last I am so go before your late to school." she winks gesturing to my necklace but then turns and leaves. I shut the door quickly sliding Into the car. "Follow that path!" I scream pointing at the driveway. David raises an eyebrow but does as I say. "I'm sorry I've always wanted to jump into a car and scream follow that car and well yeah." i say laughing at how stupid I am. how does this boy like me again? "Ok. umm can I ask something of you? It's kind of weird but I think I should tell you sooner than later... can you meet my parents tomorrow night?" He asked nervously. awww that's so cute. "hmmm" he looked really nervous so I decided to end his torture. "okay sure what should I wear, do, slash act?" I ask. "my parents are really high up people. you should probably dress really nicely. like floor length gown nicely. I'm sorry to ask this of you because your girly but not like that but if you don't have a dress I can ask my sis-" "shut up it's ok I would love to." I say smiling bigger at him. "Oh my god. Good." he sighs. "oh and would you like to go on another date today?" I smile largely. "I would love to." he grabbed my hand and rubbed circles into my hand. we reached school a few minutes later. "Don't move" he said unbuckling himself and running over and opening my door for me. "thank you kind prince." "Anything for my princess." we walked Into school hand in hand. It was obvious that people were staring. "just ignore them." David whispered into my ear. I felt a buzz from my phone. I pull my phone out and see a text from Maddy. I want to know what happened ASAP today after school? I smile sadly. crap I forgot about Maddy she's going to be ticked. can't have a date tonight. I'm meeting his parents tomorrow but I need to dress up like dress up dress up so you can come over after school and than we can talk about it while I get ready...? I texted back. Ugggh I'm gonna die before than. okay I'll take what I can get but your telling me all about the parent trap to ok? She replied and I smiled. of course. I tucked my phone away.

"Can you answer number 4 for me miss.hunter?" Mr.blakely asked me . I shook the thoughts from my head god I need to stop dazing off. I looked down at my paper which I finished ten minutes into class. I excel in math and English. At the moment I was in math. You should end up with the square root over 49 which is 7." I say. I see his face fall knowing I had the correct answer. "Yes that is correct. Try paying attention." I'm so sick of him saying that. "I don't even know why I'm in this class I've already learned all of this. You have nothing else to teach me why do I need to pay attention?" My eyes widen when I realize I said that out loud. "well miss.hunter why don't you go down to the principals office maybe he can teach you something about respect." he said. I'm already getting detention may as well make it worth it. "and you should stop by the sewing room maybe she can teach you something about style." I said looking at him up and down before walking out of the room. I'm not going down to the principals office. Instead I decided to get out of his class. he disrespected me as much as I disrespected him. I walked down to the guidance office. i walk in and see an old woman behind a mahogany desk and three doors for the three councilors behind her. "Excuse me are any of he councilors available to help me change my schedule?" Her face twisted in annoyance at my voice. without looking at me she pointed her pen at the middle door. "Thanks" I mumble but walk in. A middle aged woman with blonde hair and dull blue eyes looks at me. "How can I help you?" She answered her eyes lighting up a bit. "I want to change my schedule." she looked at with a dull look. "it's too late in the semester." i put my hands on my hips leaning against the door. "my math teacher just kicked me out of his class so I need to change anyway. I just think I should make my math and English class honors because they are to easy." She looked at me but than looked at the computer. typing some things in. there is a math and history class at the same time as your that fit so no more of your schedule will need changed. she printed something of and handed it to me. "this is your new schedule I will tell your teachers you start tomorrow." "Thank you." I smiled flatly walking out. it was past lunch and I didn't see any importance in going to last period so I just walked out of school hoping on the hood of David's car. My thoughts started swarming my mind. why is David so interested in me? He said he always have been but I mean why make a move now? And why do I need to dress up so much to meet his parents? Are we meeting somewhere fancy? Should I tell them how I really am or should I make myself sound better? No. I'm going to be myself. If they don't approve of me then well I don't care. "well as much as I love this sight I don't think it will be safe to drive with you on my hood." I hear a voice say that I know as David's. "weeeeell than why don't you skip driving and come up here with me?" I say In a flirty voice. "oh I would love to but I oh you a date." he said chuckling. i open my eyes to see him a few feet away staring at me with a smirk. "Fiiiine if I must." I say sitting up.

"You brought me to the zoo?!?!?" I squeal from excitement. "I'm even wearing a panda!! Can we go see the pandas first?!?!" I screech probably blowing out poor David's eardrums. "yes, I know you are babe, and we can do whatever you want." he answered smoothly. good boy he has some sanity. "Let's goooo" I say pulling him through the gates into the zoo. Instantly I see little kids running around dragging their parents along basically how I'm dragging david. the sight makes me stop alittle but I don't stop pulling him till I see the pandas. I couldn't resist from jumping up and down. "look it's name is penny! Penny the panda that's adorable!!!" I tell and he just laughs. "just like you" he sad poking my nose. I was to excited to care about his remark and just pulled him into the gift shop. I got him a small panda and he got me a panda charm bracelet. After that I pulled him into the petting zoo. they had so many things to pet it was crazy. there was llamas, kangaroos, and even stingrays that had their stingy thingys removed. We spent the most time near the sting ray tank petting them and going though the little tunnels underneath the tank obviously made for children. David kept on teasing me saying he was going to push me in and he wasn't careful enough that he ended up doing just that. we didn't catch any attention surprisingly. I reached out coughing pretending it was a lot worse than it was. "uggg you jerk" cough cough. "help me out of here." as soon as he reached for my hand I pulled him in. I know eith his vampire strength I shouldn't have been able to but I think he let me. either way it was fun.we ended up wrestling in the tank. that resulted in then kicking us out of the zoo and saying we arnt aloud to return for five years. I wonder why five oh well. "that was amazing!" I scream running from the zoos gates. "I can't believe you fell in!"David laughed. "I did NOT! You pushed me in!" I scream back laughing. I was having trouble berthing and I snorted. my face contorts in shock. "O.m.g. Ewww that's so gross." I say laughing still. David came up to me wrapping me in his cold arms. "I think it's adorable." he said and I rolled my eyes on instinct. "for the couple who just got removed from the zoo If you do not leave the property in five minutes we will call the police." a speaker announced. "ruuuun!" We both tell at each other at the same time. We slide into the car "step on it" I say looking at David and he does just as I said. he stepped on it.

"Sir do you care to tell me why you were speeding?" The police officer asked. yes as I think you can see my stupid vampire boyfriend managed to get pulled over for speeding. I resist giggling knowing he will just pay the fine and this will be like it never happened. "yes sir you see my girlfriend over here hasn't had her period in a few weeks and she's worried she could be pregnant. She's very scared at being a teen mom and kept telling me to speed up. I'm very sorry sir." he said smoothly. he just said what now? The police officers eyes softened and I realized he was going to let us go. I had to play along. "David why did you have to tell him that? I don't want everyone knowing I messed up and we didn't use protection!" I screech trying to be as serious as possible. The officers face went from worried to mad to kind of shocked to something I couldn't make out. "well umm I guess I can let you go since this won't happen again." he went to walk away but hesitated. "and next time be sure to use protection i would hate to see a pretty thing like you have to deal with that." the police officer said to me. I blushed instantly looking at my lap. David rolled the window up and went off at the speed limit. "YOU JERK! Why would you say that!" I yell. he just continues to laugh at me. "you should have seen your face! And you played along! I didn't think you would! Oh my god I can't believe that worked!" He said between laughs. "yeah yeah whatever you jerk." I huffed crossing my arms across my chest. Just then David pulled into my drive way. "well here is your stop princess." I nod and look at him. I haven't kissed him since that one day and we have went on two dates since then. He hasn't even tried to push me. David is a serious gentlemen. I smiled largely but leaned over and smashed my lips into his. I pulled away and looked at him his face again showing shock. "goodnight" I say. "night" he managed to spit out. I ran out of the car and into the house. I managed to avoid my mom and for that I was very thankful. I laid in be and I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
