Once home I managed to stress myself out about the date. Warm, comfortable, yet cute? Warm as in like jeans and a hoodie? Or like five sweaters and a marshmallow coat? I groaned in annoyance. I have no idea what to wear. A few minutes later Maddy walks straight into my room walking to my closet. I stare at her blankly as she reaches for things and tosses them to the side.

"I'm going to have to put those all back you know!" I yell jokingly knowing she doesn't care at all. She shrugs "I don't care" and continues ruffling through my closet. A few minutes later she comes out with a smile. Oh god why was I letting her picks it for me again? She held it out to me and I grabbed the clothing. She picked out pink skinny jeans with a brown grey and pink striped sweater. She paired it with the same color brown uggs and the same color pink beanie.

I stared at her in shock it was adorable. It looked warm, cute as in little kid cute and cute like I want to date her cute. I have no idea how one outfit could be all those things but it was. "Thank you thank you thank you sooo much" I squeak jumping up and down. I was strangely really excited for this date. Vampire or not I've day dreamed about David more than Mickey Mouse loves mini.

I understand why I am excited but I was still confused about why maddie was helping me. She was a hunter too yet she's setting her best friend up with one? I looked over at my best friend. She was sitting in my swivel chair with her legs propped up on the desk. With a magazine in her hands she seemed content. It was a shame I had to bother it.

"Why are you helping me?" I ask her confused. She turned to look at me raising an eye brow. "Would you rather I make things worse? I know that it's insensible but I trust your sense if judgement and your happy. So if you're happy so is I." she paused flipping her magazine page. "oh as tomorrow I'm going to tell him if he hurts you I will kill him without remorse Literally." A shiver of fear was sent down my spine at my best friends tone. She was serious Dead serious. I laugh at my own pun turning serious when I realize I'm laughing at a terrible situation.

"That's really sweet if you. Thanks mads" I say running up to her and hugging her. She squeezed me back tightly before letting go. "How did you know he was going to ask me out on a date and a warm one?" I asked just realizing I had yet to tell her. "I called him and asked. Now I want to finish reading about all the supposed surgeries kim k has gotten." she says making a motion for me to leave. "This is my room!" I scream while giggling. "Don't care figure out something." she stated officially kicking me out of my own room.

"Fine" I mumble closing the door and running down to the basement. Right now would be a great time to catch up on my vampire info. See if I can find anything that could explain David and I's situation. I looked throughout the entire library pulling anything out that sounded close. By then end I pulled out vampire physiology, the mind of a vampire, vampire feelings, and vampire love?

Yes the question mark was in the title. The author must have been just as confused as me. They were all decently small books basically magazines but with tiny print and no pictures besides the physiology. I decided that one wouldn't help me and tossed it. I spent a few hours reading the few books. All I got was what I already know and was taught no love, no feelings, only about blood.

I made an annoyed sound pushing back in my seat. I went and looked at the oldest section of the books. They have been wrote for decades many by my ancestors. I went to the oldest shelf and pulled out one just titled vamp. Opening it I found a small diary inside of the book. The pages were cut out so the journal could fit inside. I was obviously meant to be hidden and I started at the small leather book in confusion. It wouldn't hurt to look through it though.

I decide to read the entire thing starting by taking my room back from Miss I doesn't care. Well she should care because that was rude with a Capitol r. I walk back up to my room opening my door the room was empty. maddie must have left sometime during my search. I flop onto my bed and open the journal. The print is defiantly a woman's by the curly letters I noticed. I began reading.
