chloes p.o.v.

I'm running through the forest. I know Maddy went to our secret tree house when she left me and David alone. She left me alone with a vampire. She better feel bad about that. My brain has had enough of my arguing and shouts run. Of course i've trained to fight vampires my whole life but I was always taught never be alone. I can hear david's loud footsteps behind me he is fast. He should of caught me by now.

Vampires have super speed David should have caught me by now. If he does why isn't he using it ? "Chloe stop!" All of a sudden something within me breaks and I suddenly stop. Just then I see the first tree with a spray painted heart. That means I'm close. "Chloe stop i'm not gonna hurt you." I turn around and he's about ten feet away. I don't know what to do my legs wouldn't go I was trying with all my might. After what seemed like ages i finally snapped out of it and ran. I finally get to the tree house with David close behind me. "maddy i know your mad but please put the ladder down."

She must of heard the rush in my voice becuse seconds later it dropped. I didn't dare look back at david I knew he was already here. I climbed up as fast as i can and pulled the ladder up. Just as i was about to i seen david. He jumped out of no where toward the ladder. I exahail knowing he missed. just as i finished pulling it up i heard loud BANG. I turn my attention to the only window the tree house had. First I seen maddy's horrified expression. My eyes then glance to the window. There sitting on the window like it's a every day thing is the one and only david black. "maddy move away david's a vampire."

I'm positive at that i seen his lips curl to a small smile.Maddys reaction was same as mine to run but there was no where to run. she looks around the little old tree house. ' Im not going to hurt ethier of you.' David climbs in the tree house.' Nice place you got here.' he says. ' I think hes looking for somthing' i say to maddy. His gaze stops as he see's a picture of Justian Beiber from like 2010. ' Belibers huh ?". How is he joking around with us? Apparently it's ok for vampires to play with their food.

I look at maddy and we burst out laughing. We were going to take that down a long time ago but we both agreed he was too hot. Slowly his gaze turned to us, our laughter instantly stoped. Just then our cell phones go ballistic. David is now staring at me. I try to dodge him and go out the window but before I do David leaped towards me and i am laying on the ground.

I didn't feel a thing. I looked straight into his eyes. This is the end i think looking at him squeezing my eyes shut tightly, Just then a warm tear trickles down my cheek. I open them and look into his eyes, his light sparking eyes begin to grow dark. They looked almost caring and gentle. His face came closer to mine and I think he's gonna bite me but his lips swerved last second and he kissed the tear on my cheek. Just as I was about to think maybe he won't kill me I hear "don't move," A scream and than complete darkness.
