Chapter 10

In the morning I woke with no memory of my dreams. I wasn't sure if I should be happy or upset by that. Like always I rolled over and checked my phone. I got a snapchat from someone called prince. Wonder who that could be I jokingly thought. I opened it and realized David must have added himself and that while I was upstairs getting dolled up for the queen yesterday. I left my phone In the car or I thought I did. Must not have. The sly guy. I laughed and opened it. It was David smiling a real smile, the headline said bring a swim bag to school. I laughed out loud, really David? You didn't even ask if I wanted to go! I roll my eyes but take a picture. My hair was a wreck because of bed head jeez that's insane. He can deal. I give a small smile at the camera. A Bikini? I type in. Within a minute I get a reply. A message one not a picture. If you wear anything near a bikini you won't be going anywhere. I'm shocked at his bluntness. Will I ever get use to this? I reply with a picture. A pouting look on my face. What if that was the plan? I send it and get ready for the day. Knowing we were going swimming I jumped in the shower quickly left my hair and makeup natural no point in my makeup if he's just going to see me without it. I throw on some denim shorts and a pink tank top saying I refuse to sink. I forgot about snapchatting David so I hurriedly grab my phone and see four messages. Oh no.
-cheeky, but no not today princess
-princess?
-see you in ten ;)
-I'm here princess hurry we don't wanna miss school.
I realize we have time and wonder why he's so early. "CHLOE YOUR BOY TOY IS HERE!" I hear my mom scream. Oh no my mom. I hurry and text David. I think my mom might force me to introduce you to her. Fangs up I'll try to rush it and make her leave all her stuff ok? I text in a panic. "Alright"he replies. Weird.... I run downstairs and see my mom waiting by the door phone in hand and dressed nicely probably for a hunter meeting. "You know I want to meet him right?" She said hand on her hip and her green eyes piercing into me and not in a good way. Gulp. "Yes mother. But hey can I borrow your phone for a second I need to text maddie and mines not working properly," I lie swiftly. I hear he sigh but she throws her phone at me quickly knowing with my reflexes I'll catch it "thanks" I smile opening the door and walking to David's car with him. I pretend to text but really turn it off so it won't detect David. Once we become close to the car door opens and a boy with jet black hair David's eyes and a sharper shaped face comes out. I gasp slightly confused. Is this his brother? No it has to be him but how? He runs in front of us and shakes my mothers hand. "Hello mrs.hunter is a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm sorry it took me so long I was nervous and my parents were dying to meet her since I've had a crush on her for the longest time." He says sincere in his voice. What is happening? I look at him confused and he shoots me a small wink. "Well you seem like such a sweet boy. Chloe's been so secretive about you. I apologize I don't even know your name." He looks at me with a smirk. Darn them. "It's David Blane. I'm sorry she hasn't told you maybe my Nerves rubbed off on her. I'm glad I finally got to meet the woman that raised my Amazing girlfriend but we must be getting to school." He said smoothly. God how does he do that? My moms face come with a smile and shock. "Oh right I almost forgot. I'm sorry. Go have fun and have her back by a decent hour young man!" My mom jokingly yells. "Of course mrs.hunter." He says opening my door for me. I climb in and watch him run in front if the car and climb into his side. When he does his face and hair morphs back to normal. My jaw drops and my eyes probably look like saucers. "WHAT WHEN HOW HUH?!?!" I screech looking at him. The boy had the nerve to laugh. To laugh at me! "Just a perk of being a royal prince."I look at him and couldn't help but join in on laughing. "Your a jerk you know that? You could at least have warned me!" I say. He shakes his head and starts the car. "Yeah but what's the fun in that?" I couldn't help but smile at his antics whatever.

Oh god. Of course. First period honors English last period honors math. Most cliche thing of all? David's In both. Sigh. Story time As soon as we get to school I remember that my class change was pushed to today so I'm in new classes today. I look over at David who's already looking at me confused. "What's wrong?" He asks his face scrunching up cutely. I grab my backpack and open it grabbing my new schedule. "Umm class change... Do you know where 295 or 107 are?" I ask him. A smile lights up his face. "Both actually what periods?" I reply quickly. "First and last." "Perfect" so do I" he smiles. My face falls and I get out of the car. "Are you mad that I'm in your classes Chloe? Why?" He asks worry in his voice. "Nothing it's just I thought I might make new friends but your not gonna want to share me and you can't even deny it." I pout. I look in his eyes and see he's thinking. "How about a deal? You can make friends but only female ones. If a male talks to you I'm allowed to pound his face in." I look at him horrified. "No you can not! I'll deal with them and then deal!" He mumbles under his breathe but doesn't disagree. We walk into school and to first period his arm wrapped around my shoulders. We still get looks but it's no longer as bad. I've gotten used to it. I mean I'm going to be a princess compared to that this school is nothing! "That's very true princess" David says. This time I was confused I'm sure I said that in my head. "You did." Wait he can read my mind the heck?!? "Yes" STOP DOING THAT! I scream mentally and I see him cringe. Haha deserves him right for not asking to read my mind. -your my beloved I shouldn't have to ask- I realize I just read his mind. Whaaaat this is sweet!! -I thought you would think so if you ever let me umm... Mark you we will be able to do this from farther distances and see what the other sees slash send them messages feel what they feel- I was in a state of shock I didn't know what to say to that. -that's amazing- I thought trying to make him hear. -yes it is. Just like you beautiful- I couldn't help the smile on my face. "CHLOE it's your first day and your already day dreaming. Mr.black please remove your arm from around mrs.hunter your obviously the reason for her distraction." A blush rises to my cheeks. "I'm sorry sir. The answer is five to the second power is that helps anything." He looks at me in surprise but nods leaving it be. That class goes by in a blur. Next period though me and David have shares all year. Spanish. David being a prince must have been forced to learn many languages because speaks it fluently along with French. Probably more but that's all that I'm aware of. I was snapped out of my spell when I realize David said something to me. Wait what was that?
"Sé lo mucho que tienes que amar a la princesa de matemáticas pero ahora tenemos que ir a español" I feel my face scrunching in total confusion. I look around the room to see it empty. Dear god I did it again."what did you say?" I ask him and he just smiles. "I said we need to get to spanish princesa." He says chuckling. "Oh right. Ok then let's go." Spanish was fun my teacher was pregnant so she was all soft and let us do whatever we want. Today she let us go outside and talk as long as it was in spanish. David and I laid on a hill away from the majority of the group. My head rested on his shoulder and he pulled himself close as can be to me. We pointed out clouds and what they looked like. He often had to tell me what the spanish words were but I didn't mind. It was the best spanish class so far. The next three classes passed and I was walking alone to my locker. I was going to meet David outside on his car for lunch. He had his chef pack us both lunch. He's so sweet I smile. As I was putting my books in my locker it was slammed into me knocking me over. "Awh looks like Chloe finally realized her place. The ground I walk on. Glad you finally realize your meant to look up at me." Cassie cackles her drones behind her. Anger immidetly fills me. I am a princess, not that she knows that but still how dare she be so cold and disrespectful. I glare at her getting up. I'm sick of this girl. I will no longer take her crap. As soon as I'm on my feet her drones slam me into the lockers trying to pin me there. God no. I am a hunter I won't deal with this. I spit in cassi's face making her squeal in disgust. A cold smile plays on my face. The other two being distracted by this loosened there grip bad mistake. I rip my arm from the girl on my right grabbing her wrist and twisting till I hear a pop. No I'm not cold hearted I didn't break it but it is dislocated. I turn to look at the other girl. She looks petrified. Good she should be. I grab her elbow and twist it so she falls to the ground. Both girls were so fragile they were like children. How sad they really should start attending a gym. By this time cassi has stopped and is looking at me in horror. About time Hun. I grab her elbow and bend it behind her head. I lean to her ear whispering coldly. "No cassi my place is high above you. Always has been always will be. I just know respect and didn't used violence till now. You left me no choice. Now you and your clones better leave me and David alone from now on or else I won't be so gentle next time. David is MINE. Okay? MINE. He was never will never be yours and I won't hesitate to defend what is mine next time someone gets in my way especially if it is you ok?" I say putting as much harshness into my voice as I could. I felt a shiver run through her body. She whimpered as she finally hung her head giving up. I released her from my grip and she fell to my feet weakly. "Looks like you finally learned your place." I say. I see David at the doors worried. I must be late. A large smile tugs my lips as I skip down the hallway meeting David. "How much of that did you see?" I ask softly. "All of it. I'm glad you defended yourself finally but how? Cassi and her clones are vampires you shouldn't have had that strength." I look at them all they are finally getting up from the ground just looking at me slightly scared. "I don't know David but I know it won't happen again." A smirk comes on his face. "That was hot." He winks. The bell rings and I realize I never even got lunch. "Ugh I'm hungry!!" I squeal in fake despair. David chuckles at me. "Just eat it in math. He won't say anything after your sass yesterday." I think and nod realizing he's right. This is turning out to be a good day.

"David let me goo I have to change into my swim suit!!" I squeal. I thought we were going to an indoor pool but I was wrong we are at his mansion where he has an indoor pool. "Fiiiiine" he grumbles. His pool was set up like a beach no kidding. It had sand from the minute you walked in and the pool splashes and gets deeper and it's amazingly similar. The only difference is the glass walls that let you see the outside proving your not near a beach. "While you change I'll get you Ice cream so it's more realistic?" He asks questioning. "Ohhh yes please!" I say. I begin walking to my room to change. There was a bathroom down there but I would rather change in my room. As I turn a corner I slam into the person I would least like to see Sarah black. Her grimace wasn't hidden this time. "God watch what your doing foolish girl and go put on a gown! Your a princess your not meant to be wearing pants! May as well shorts! You look exposed! Only the prince should see you like that! You whore! I demand you go change!" She yells so loud my ears ring. Yet I wasn't scared of this woman who could kill me in a second. "No. I'm going swimming with your son and I'm going to change and there's nothing you can do to stop me." I smirk. But boy was I wrong. Sarah grabbed me by my neck and slammed me against the wall. Her once blue eyes went pitch black and her painted red lips went back showing her fangs. "I could kill you in a second you ignorant girl." I laugh at this. "But I'm David's beloved you won't it would hurt your kingdom." I say. She smiles evilly. How could the king ever love this monster? I wonder if she was always this way. "Mason would just take over for David. He hasn't marked you yet so the only thing will be a broken heart. Best of all this kingdom wouldn't have an ex hunter as queen." She cackled. Realizing David has in fact partially marked me cause a smirk of my own. I knew what I was doing next. "That's where your wrong Sarah. He scratched me." Her face fell as she removed her hand to look at my neck. Sure enough she had to have seen something because she squinted her eyes at me and moved away. "This isn't over Chloe. You will NOT become queen on my watch." I got up dusting myself off. "Watch me." I said turning my back towards her and closing my door. I say my stuff beside my dress or pulling out my one piece black bathing suit with white polka dots. I slipped it on only to have Lacey barge into my room as soon as I was done. She ran to me hugging me tightly. "HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS?" I was shocked and didn't know what to say. "What news?" I repeat to her in confusion. She ran to the stand were my clothes were now folded beside the tv remote. She pressed a few buttons and typed in something that looked like a password. Big words swooshed along the screen.
PRINCE DAVID PLAYING AROUND OR FOUND HIS BELOVED? Was printed in large capitols above the picture of him holding me bridal style out of the zoo. You could tell we were both soaked and could clearly see his face. Mine though was into his chest and all you could make out was my hair is brown wet. A blonde woman came on looking all serious yet smiley. "Reports have said that prince David had been seen on many occasions doing things that involved this mystery girl. They have been seen outside of his school on the hood of his car." Again the picture was taken at an angel that only you could see him. "At the zoo." That same picture. "At a skating rink." This time was a picture of him spinning me around. You could see the huge smile on my face but not make out my features. "And what makes most believe it's his believed. Buying a simple silver necklace in cursive saying princess." I couldn't resist from reaching up and pressing my thumb against my necklace. How did they find out? How did they get these pictures? A tear escaped my eye. There's no hiding it now. If I don't accept David soon his whole kingdom will turn against him and I love him too much for that. Wow what wait? Love? Did I just say I love him? I thought for a second and I realized I do. I love that crazy childish possessive jerk. He's my possessive jerk. I wiped the tear from my face and smiled with determination. "Lacey I have a plan but you need to help me."
