Chapter 3

I'm running through a Unfamiliar forest branches are wiping at my arms and legs scratching them. All I can hear is two sets of heavy footsteps running after me and my own heart beat. I turn my head to try and catch a look at what I'm running from when I trip. I look at the ground scattering to get up. I see a small white rabbit hop away from my feet as two male bodies come into view. They both look very similar besides how big they are" Finally little princess messes up. Not so perfect are ya hun, no one to perfect you now." The skinner man says. His greedy and gross yellow brownish eyes peek through his knotted brown curls. His eyes scan over my body and he smiles almost hungrily.
No this isn't how Its suppose to be, Please someone help. Just then a shot rings out and I see the skinner man fall and blood start to deep out of the hole in his chest. "dammit they found us get up girl." I try to get up when another shot rings and the other man falls to his knees this time a bullet through his head.
"CHLOE WAKE UP." I shoot up from my bed sweat on my face. It was just a dream just a dream. I look around my dark room in search for that voice but see nothing. I squint and look at my alarm clock beside my bed.
Big vibrant numbers blink 4:30. Groaning I fall back into bed I'm never going to be able to go back to sleep. I slide my feet into my bunny slippers and walk into my bathroom. Turning on the shower I look in the mirror at my neck. No mark left how is that ? Looking at it harder I go to touch it only to feel an insane burning feeling throughout my entire body. "ouch"
I step into the shower and instantly feel my muscles tense and relax just what a girl needs. After my shower I go into my walk in closet. Deciding to actually try for once I pick up my favorite red set bra and underwear, a white sweater,purple skinny jeans, a purple necklace and my white combat boots.
I curl the ends of my hair and put on some eyeliner, mascara, and some Chapstick. All done I think and smile brightly not to brag but I look good. I look at the clock and realize it's already 6:50. "Oh god I gotta go" I run down the stairs running Into the kitchen and grabbing my backpack. "morning mom dad gotta go" I turn and run out my back door.
Running through my back yard I end up in maddy's. I knock fast and hard on her door. It opens and I see maddy's brother chris. " babe your looking fiiiine today." he flirted with me. We always joke around like that to mess with Maddy but this time the thought of that made me want to throw up. Sliding past him and into the house I run up to maddy's room to see her grabbing her backpack and coming. we both go down the stairs and go out the door.
The bus pulls up as we reach the end of maddy's drive way. we skip aboard and sit in the last seat. breathing deeply we both look at each other and laugh. Suddenly Maddy stops and stares at me. "You look so pretty..." she pauses then continues "why?"
"I woke up early from a nightmare and didn't think I could go back to sleep so I just got ready. ""oh" she said as we pull into school.
We go in together and walk to my locker in complete silence. when we get to my locker I see a piece of yellow paper taped on to it. I pull it off and read it. "We're coming princess" I gasp and look around the halls for Maddy only to see David come and rip the paper from my hands fury clearly in his eyes but how could David know about my silly dream?It has to be a coincidence right?
David grabs my hand snapping me out of my thoughts again. "meet me inside the main doors after school ok ? Bring your friend if you would feel safer but please don't walk away without me." With a Peck on my cheek and a wink he was off leaving me in the hallway all alone.
