(AN: Rusinen was being an asshole and didn't beta read my chapter, so blame him for the delayed update.)

(3rd Person POV)

"Do you understand your mission?"

"Yes, I won't fail. I'll find out her purpose and intensions and take action from there."

"Good! Make sure you do a thorough analysis of her. I need to give ###### some peace of mind. ###### has been scared out of her mind when she was confronted by her. We need to see if she's really going to go through with her word. Do not fail!"

"Of course, Elder. I will take my leave then."

(Arthur Leywin POV)

Another day as an adventurer and another dungeon that needed to be explored.

Me, Amber and Jasmine we currently at Guild Headquarters as Kaspian had called us to discuss something. He said something about a special opportunity that might be beneficial to us if we chose to participate. Having both mine and my wife's curiosities peaked, we decided to accept his invitation and find out what this so called 'special opportunity' was.

Currently, we were all waiting at the reception area for Kaspian to call us into his office.

"Hmph! He asked us to come here, so he should at least show some courtesy and not make us wait." Amber voice out her dissatisfaction at the lack of hospitality. After a couple of minutes, Mary came and let us to Kaspian's office.

"Enter," Kaspian's voice came from the other side of the door. We opened the door and Kaspian motioned us to sit on the chairs in front of his desk. "Sorry for making you wait, but I had some urgent business to attend to. Nevertheless, that has been taken care of, so I can explain to you about the special opportunity I was talking about in my letter."

"Yes, I've never heard of such special opportunities before as an adventurer. Care to elaborate?" said Jasmine in a monotone voice.

Kaspian nodded to her and continued, "Yes. These are quests only available for the strongest adventurers. It includes diving into AA-Class S-Class or dungeons deep within the Beast Glades, which have never been explored before. Our aim is to explore these dungeons and find out if they're safe for adventures to go into." He paused for a second to see if he had our attention and then continued, "We comprise a party of our best adventurers and send them out to explore the dungeon. It comprises of A to S-Class adventurers."

"And you want us to be in this party I presume." I spoke, to which Kaspian nodded his head in confirmation.

"There are, of course, some benefits to joining this special party. For example, you get a reduction on your tax rates for beast cores sold to the guild, and you get to keep any of the cores you managed to collect." That did sound pretty enticing.

"Are you sure you want us in this party?" Amber questioned with a slight frown on her face. "Surely you have stronger people than us. Why us specifically?"

"Strength and trust do not always come together," he answered. "Sure, there are stronger people than you. But I don't trust them nearly as much as I trust you." There was a brief moment of silence as we soaked in his words. Yes, trust was indeed hard to come by. A prime example would be of Harold and Callum, who tried to get rid of us when we went dungeon diving with them. A good party should be built on the foundations of trust. If not, then the whole team is destined to fail.

"Can we have some time to discuss this?" I asked and Kaspian nodded his head in response. We went outside his office and discussed what we were going to do. "So, should we accept this offer?" I asked as I looked at both Jasmine and Amber for their opinions.
