The rest of the work day breezed by.

As soon as you returned from Jungkook's office you sat glued to your computer the entire day. You take a short break with your coworkers for lunch but the remainder of the day is dedicated to work.

You don't give yourself enough credit for how hard you work. You're also extremely smart and calculating. You solve problems with ease and you care about the company. You love marketing and you love your job. You're a natural born leader. You work well with your team and are genuinely concerned about their growth in the company. You take the time to know them and understand their goals and put them up for promotions when the time comes. This is why you talk so highly of Namjoon, although he's a position under you, you know he can handle things while you're gone. Your team respects you and you respect them.

You thought you would have been promoted to CMO. You've been the hardest work director among the 3 of you. When the company announced they were going with an outside hire you questioned yourself and your abilities. Then you heard through the other directors that the CEO was going to hire his grandson for the CMO position. Apparently he has the experience - he created his own company in his early 20s and it profited after 2 years. He shortly sold it and was looking at taking over his grandfather's company eventually.

This gave you a little bit of hope. You'll eventually become a CMO, you think to yourself.

You glance over at the bottom corner of your screen to check the time. 19:30. The previous night has you extremely tired. You sigh and check your phone and see a few unread messages.

TRIO CHAT

Min-a: Hey, so do we want to meet up for dinner tonight? The usual spot.
Hannah: Yes please! I'm craving meat and drinks? Plus, it's Friday. We can go out again tonight if we we're in the party mood.
Min-a: I need to know about everyone's night. And Han, how do you still have all the energy after last night?
Hannah: Just met up with the guy I hooked up with last night. Consider me energized ;)
Y/N: Oh Han, I love you. I'm still down for dinner. I'm just about done at the office.
Min-a: I can head over to the restaurant now and grab us a table.
Hannah: Heading over now too! See you girlies there!

You shut down your computer and put your head into your hands. You're so exhausted but you have to see your girls. There's so much to catch up on.

You look over at your team and you still see Namjoon and Jennie working so you head over to them.

"Whatever you guys have left to do, it's Monday's problem. Please get out of here. " You tell them. "Don't have to tell me twice!" Jennie says as she runs out of the office waving at you and Namjoon. You both laugh and Namjoon starts to pack his things up.

"Thanks, Y/N. The clients at Kaja are great but their budgets don't match what they want to see at the event." Namjoon says matter of fact. "We've stretched their dollars efficiently but they want better. I was just reviewing the budgets again to see where we can cut some things but it's not possible."

"Okay, let's go on site together Monday and see if we can manage their expectations. Maybe it's about convincing them that they already have the best and blowing their budget wouldn't be wise."

You both head over to the elevators and wait for them to arrive.

"Any weekend plans?" Namjoon asks. "None - I plan to lay at home all weekend and be a couch potato." You say happily. After last night, you want to get as much rest as possible.

"Hey Y/N, we didn't really get to celebrate your birthday but I was thinking..."

*Ding*

The elevator door opens up and you see Jungkook. He stares at both you and Namjoon and you swear you notice his jaw lock. Then he flashes you both a smile. You and Namjoon bow and walk into the elevator.
