Jeju Day 1

After an eventful Friday work day you head over to the airport with Jungkook.

It's been a while since you've been on vacation so it'll be fun to just relax and not think about work.

You're sitting in a car with Jungkook and you can't help but notice that he's slightly distant from you.

Last time you guys were together alone was just a few days ago. He mentioned that he was excited about the trip and he wanted to show you his favourite spots in Jeju.

You try to break the ice.

"I'm excited about some of the spots you were mentioning the other night." You give him a smile to lighten up the mood.

"Oh right. I forgot about that. Yeah for sure."

He barely looks up from his phone. He's been on it all morning since you met up at the event.

"Everything good, Jungkook? I know COSRX was a little messy but they'll get it fixed in time for the event.

"Everything is good." He looks up at you and gives you a smile.

He gets another message and he looks down and sighs.

You were about to press but the driver finally stops and you realize you've arrived at the airport.

Jungkook hops around and helps you grab your luggage and he struggles a little bit. You packed a lot of clothes. Especially since you didn't have to share with Jungkook you had all the closet space you wanted.

You finally settle into the plane. You're flying business class so you have a lot of leg space to yourself. No private jet?

"My halaboji has a few business meetings before he meets us so he'll be taking the private jet. Hope you don't mind."
Sometimes you feel like Jungkook can read your mind.
"I don't mind at all. I've never flown business class before."
"Well, don't tell that to my halaboji." Jungkook laughs but it sounds forced. Why is he acting like this?
You put your head phones on and try to tune out Jungkook's attitude for the rest of the flight.
The flight is short so you work through some emails before signing off for the whole week.

Once you land you're greeted by a man who escorts you to the car. In the car, Jungkook was again on his phone. He seems annoyed but also tired. You feel like you did something wrong and you try to shake that feeling away.  You also just mindlessly scroll through social media to pass the time.

An hour or so later you finally arrive at the house. It's magnificent.

The house sits on top of a hill and it overlooks the east side of the island. It's lush all around and private enough that there are no neighboring homes close by. It's like you're secluded from the rest, in a good way.

It feels like you're at a proper vacation home. You step outside in awe.
You head in and the housekeeper takes you in and escorts you and Jungkook to the west wing of the house.

"Your rooms are ready. Miss Y/N will have this bedroom and Mr. Jeon will have this room." She points at two doors that are across from each other.
You nod to agree and she looks over at Jungkook.

"Your grandfather called and he won't be able to make it till tomorrow evening. We can prepare dinner for you in a few hours if you'd like."
"No that's okay ma'am. Miss Y/N and I will be heading out for dinner."
She bows and leaves you both in the hallway.
