A new Chief of Marketing Officer starts at the office and you realize it's the same guy you hooked up with last night...
You look at the clock at it's 22:30. It's not too late although it is a work night. You get to the table confused. Jungkook is still there waiting for you.
"Everyone is headed to karaoke. I told them I'd wait for you to see if you'd want to join." You were about to say something. "Namjoon insisted he stayed back but I think I'm a little more sober than him to be walking with you."
"Right... I was actually going to head home."
You don't know why you're so upset. His comment wasn't too bad, especially since everyone was drunk but you don't to be around him right now.
"I told everyone I could convince you." He offers a smile.
"I think if it was anyone else I would have said yes." You snap.
"I deserve that."
You sigh. "I thought everything was fine between us, Jungkook. It's been 3 months. I'm keeping my distance like we both agreed. Did I do something wrong?"
"You didn't. I don't even know how to explain what I'm doing because I don't even know myself." Jungkook looks defeated.
"Are you okay?"
"I will be if you join karaoke." You don't press. He's going through something and he doesn't want to share. Instead, a smile creeps on your face.
"Then you have to sing a song for me."
"Deal. I'm actually pretty good at singing." You smile brightly at his response. "Of course you are, Jungkook."

When you both get to the karaoke room everyone somehow managed to get even more drunk. The loud music and passionate singing, this was going to be fun.
You decide to stop drinking since it looks like you might need to chaperone some people home.
Jungkook also refuses anymore drinks that are put in front of him.
Nara instantly gravitates towards Jungkook while you take a seat farther away and enjoy the music. You don't pay too much attention to them because you're just trying to have a good time.
A few songs go by and Nara yells that Mr. Jeon was going next. You look over at him and smile. You clap to show your encouragement. Jungkook gives you a shrug and flashes his signature dimple smile.
He begins his song and you're floored by how amazing he is. The room is captivated by his voice. Of course he's an amazing singer. What can't this man do?

He's so good you have to stop yourself from falling for him. The sweet version of him. The version of him you see on Sundays... the version of him that's all for show, not really meant for you.
You try not to stare when he sings but it's hard not to. He's amazing.
Jungkook looks over at to you for a little bit and you're staring at each other. It's takes every bit of you to break the hold and look away. It felt romantic but you know that's probably not what it is.
You look over at Nara and you can see that she's hungry for him. You can see that she loves that he's getting this attention and she has to have a taste. His charm is undeniable and you smile at her. You know what's going to happen to them tonight.
He's had his attention on her all night. How could be not go home with her? She's beautiful, he's beautiful, it's just how it's meant to go tonight.
You all clap and the group drunkenly cheers. Jungkook bows and laughs. Then, instead of taking his seat beside Nara he takes a seat next to you.
"Hopefully you weren't too bored with that performance." He has a shy look on his face.
"Not at all, Mr. Jeon. That was very beautiful. I mean come on, you must know you're good." You give him a sweet smile.
You playfully encourage him to sing some more but he refuses. "I'd prefer to listen to Namjoon rap." You laugh. Namjoon was actually so good at rapping.
Nara comes over and sits on the other side of Jungkook. You notice her trying to flirt with him. That's your cue to head out. It's late now and ask to see if anyone needs a buddy ride home. No one responds. You look over to Jungkook and shrug. You say your goodbyes which takes another 15 minutes since everyone is drunk and no one wants you to go. As you're about to head out the door Jungkook catches up to you. "I'll go home with you." You give him a confused look. "Wait, I thought you were with Nara? Should we wait for her?" "No, I think she's okay. I told her Tae is much smoother with the ladies than I am." You look over at Nara and she's singing with Tae and has seemed to move on from Jungkook.
You get out of the bar and turn and face Jungkook.
"Thanks for another night out, Mr.Jeon! I'm glad everyone is still down there having fun."
"Thanks for coming out with us tonight, Y/N. It was nice to watch you have fun."
"If being a CEO doesn't work out for you, you should definitely become a singer."
Jungkook lets out a genuine laugh.
"If you like my voice you should see my dance moves." He suddenly does a little shuffle dance combo.
You burst out laughing. Not only was the hilarious but he was actually quite good.
