I heard this name being shouted and i opened my eyes, Mikey's back was facing me, but he wasn't moving

Slowly, we both fell on the ground, and then he fell back, his head hittin g my chest

When i look, i saw the blood on his shirt, and oozing down on his arm, that's when i felt like my eyes will leave my skull

"A.... are you alright?" He asked, in a week voice, he was concerned about me, yet he's the one who was shot

I felt my eyes getting tingly, words couldn't get out of my mouth, my eyes couldn't get off his

"This dress.... it looks good on you" He whispered. Is he seriously using the last bit of strength he has to tell me this?

"Mikey, hold on, we'll take you to the headquarters, now stop talking." Kakucho said, holding Manjiro with Koko

Suddenly i felt someone pull me from my arms "you bitch, look what happened because of you! Who the fuck are you anyways!?" It was Sanzu, he was pulling me hard, shouting on me

"Stop this Sanzu! Do you think it's time for this? Mikey protected her and you're here hurting her!?" Ran defended, taking me out of Sanzu's grip while the other guy who looked like Ran pushed him away

"I swear to god you whore, if anything happens to Mikey, i won't wait for anyone to kill you, I'LL DO IT MYSELF!" He shouted, being pulled by the man

Ran took me in his arms "don't listen to him, he didn't take his pills, it's not your fault." He whispered, trying to sooth me

He held me in his arms and started running outside before the cops get here and then we sat in a car

"Drive to the headquarters Rin, she needs to get her leg checked, it's all swollen." Ran said and the one driving nodded

Sanzu, who was sitting on the front, clicked his tongue "no need to, she won't live for too long." He said and earned a glare from the one beside him

The ride felt like eternity, i couldn't believe what happened in these few hours, and at the end, Manjiro was shot because of me, if someone has to die, it should be me

We arrived to the destination and Ran helped me down from the car and we got inside, he entered the elevator

We arrived to one of the floors and they rushed me to one of the rooms, then laid me on a bed, and a doctor came into the room

He inspected my leg quickly "the bones are really fractured, another wrong step and it would've broke." He said

He patched it up and left the room "where's Manjiro?" I asked Ran "and you're calling him by his first name? You should pray that he'll get out of here alive, or i'll torture you to death." Sanzu threatened

"Rindo, get him out of here before I regret what I'll do next." Ran said in an angry tone

The guy named Rindo obayed and took Sanzu out, closing the door behind him

"Sorry for you hearing this." Ran apologized and sat on the chair next to me "how are you feeling?" He asked

I tried to sit down but he stopped me "what are you doing?" He asked, "I won't be okay until I check on Manjiro." I said

His lips parted for a second, then they turned into a smile "you even call him by his first name, are you all that close?" he asked

"No, we're not, he just helped me yesterday, and offered me to stay at his house until i felt better, but this morning he insisted on me going to get cloths, i declineed, but in vain, and now look what happened." I cried
