The next morning, I woke up and didn't find Manjiro beside me. I looked around the room and didn't see him anywhere

"Manjiro! Are you in the bathroom?" I called but no answer. Where could he be? He doesn't go anywhere without telling me

The bedroom door knocked "y/n? Are you okay? I heard you calling." It was Rindo, he must've been passing by and heard me

"Yeah i'm fine. Have you seen Manjiro?" I asked "no. I just woke up, I'll go check if he's down for you." He answered and i hummed in response

I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to clean myself up so i can go with Haru, since i promised him yesterday

"Good morning princess." Ran said holding my hand when he saw me coming in the lobby "you smell as sweet as vanilla." He said kissing the back of my hand

This time Waka wasn't here to hit him, it doesn't even look like he cares if he was here or not

"Good morning to you Ran. Is Manjiro here?" I asked looking around in hope to find him somewhere but no luck

Ran pouted his lips "oh come on~ we're here alone you and i. Give me some of the attention you give the boss." He whined, giving me his puppy eyes.

I playfully rolled my eyes at him and patted his head "sorry to break it to you, but I love him, you're just a friend. There is a house full of nice girls though, go look for one of your taste." I said referring to the house where the girls i helped are staying

He chuckled slightly and sighed "guess there's no point if the one i was inspired by all my life doesn't see me as more than a friend." But he sounded kinda.... hurt

"Here you are." I heard Haru's voice speak from behind him "what were you guys doing?" He asked, looking at us back and forth

Ran held me and pulled me closer to him "it's a secret." He whispered, placing his index on his lips

I pushed him away slightly "don't listen to him. He's just as flirty as always." I said and walked to Haru

"Where is Manjiro?" I asked and he said that he was doing some business with Koko

I walked in front of him "Come on, let's go." I said and went outside "car or motor?" He asked pointing at the engines in front of us

I raised an eyebrow at him and smiled "you're asking this question?" I said and he returned the smirk

He handed me a helmet but i didn't accept it "thought you started being a little safer." He chuckled

I climbed behind him and he started roaring his motorcycle. I remembered how we used to ride before I got kidnapped. Now i'm sure it's gonna be more fun

And yes, he sped up like crazy. He passed beside the cars without even looking, as if he was challenging himself to pass

But it was one of the best rides I've ever had. It was amazing and a mood lifter

We arrived to the caffe that will belong to them in the future, it doesn't look much different but they did some pretty good renovations

We sat on the table and placed our orders when the waiter came

As we were enjoying our times, I decided to open the topic I wanted to "you know. I've been missing our old days." I said as i held my cup of hot chocolate

Haru lifted his head from his cake and looked at me "what old days?" He asked, his mouth stuffed with food

"Back when it was just us all the time. Manjiro, Kei, you, me..." i didn't mention Senju because i wanted to see his reaction
