best day

The day is about to end and here's Suryeon having a good drink at the cart bar near her office after a long busy day. She enjoying her quiet alone time, free workloads and stressful jobs, she washed away all the tiredness she was feeling with the alcohol she was drinking.

But something hit her, it feels like she missing something big today. She tilted her head to the side as she think what could she forget and shrugged when she can't think of anything. She kept on drinking until her phone vibrated, she glanced on it and saw her best friend, Seojin calling her. She immediately picked up her phone and jolly answered her.

"Seojinnie~~!"

"Suryeon eonnie! Happy birthday!! I'm sorry I'm not there to celebrate it with you. I'm too occupied with work and I just got hold on my phone~ Where are you? Are you having fun today? or did you forget your birthday again?" Seojin long speech on the other line.

"Omo! It's my birthday today? That's why I feel like I forgetting something big today! I don't even know" Suryeon gasped at what she heard. That's why she felt like she forget something, It was actually her birthday today. She glanced at her wristwatch, realized that she wasted her whole day at work that she should be celebrate it outside or threw a party. but she realize that she still only have four more hours to celebrate it.

"I forgot about it. I didn't know it was my birthday today and i just wasted it." Suryeon said and just laughed it off.

Suryeon and Seojin talked for awhile before hanging up and promised to each other they will celebrate Suryeon's birthday on weekend. Suddenly, the owner of a cart bar gave her a bowl udon and another bottle of soju.

"It's on house. Since you're a regular plus It's your birthday. I'll give it to you for free." The Ahjumma said and Suryeon gave a sincere smile and appreciate her small gesture. She must be heard her conversation with Seojin since she was sitting infront her.

"Thank you, Ahjumma. I appreciate it a lot. I always forgot my birthday and It's been awhile since I received gift." Suryeon said jolly.

"Aigoo, don't forget your birthday. You need to celebrate it every year. It doesn't need to be extravagant, remembering it would be enough."

Suryeon gave a big smile and nodded acknowledging what she said. She about to eat when Ahjumma greeted someone asked her to join you.

"You got it on time! Perfect, join her and help her celebrate her birthday." Ahjumma leave the both of you to attend her order and her other customers order.

Suryeon flustered at what she said and looked at the lady who just sat beside her. She gave her a small bow and gave her an awkward smile.

"Hi, I'm sorry about that~ Ahjumma trying to set me up with everyone and she always doing that." The lady apologetically smile and bow at her a little.

"Happy birthday, by the way~ Just carry on with your business"

Suryeon looked at her from head to toe before bringing her eyes back to her face, she stared at her for awhile, she mesmerized at the beauty of the lady beside her, she snapped from her gaze, she smiled at her and offered an handshake. She didn't want to missed the opportunity to get to know more of her.

"It's okay, I'm Suryeon. I worked nearby. How about you?" She smiled when the lady accepted her hand shake.

"I'm Yoonhee and working at the law firm nearby. If you need help with law or something related to it call me." Yoonhee gave her a business card and Suryeon did the same. Yoonhee gasped when she saw Suryeon was actually an CEO of Jakomo.

"Omo! Why an CEO is here and alone, and also alone on the day of her birthday? Aren't you going to throw a party or something?" Yoonhee looked at her with a shocked expression. Suryeon just laughed at her and shrugged.
