"What have you been up to lately?" Jimin questions, breaking the silence between them.

It has been almost a year since Taehyung and his divorce, and today, by chance, he bumped into Jimin while grocery shopping. Now, they find themselves engaged in a small conversation over a cup of coffee.

"I've actually quit my full-time job. Now, I only work the evening or sometimes morning shifts. Besides that, I've been seeing a therapist recently. How's Taehyung doing these days?" Jin asks cautiously, unsure if Jimin would be willing to share.

"He's doing much better now. It took him a couple of months, but he's back on track. It's good to hear that you're doing better, too. You really needed that therapy," Jimin responds.

Jin lowers his gaze to his feet. He understands why Jimin made that comment. Jimin no longer wants him to be involved with Taehyung. Namjoon had told him about Jimin's belief that most of the blame regarding the divorce falls on Jin. There's no escaping that reality.

"I should go now, Jin. Have a good day," Jimin says as he grabs his bags and hastily leaves the coffee shop.

"This is terrible, I spoke too much." Jin mutters to himself.

"What's the matter? You took quite a while," Taehyung asks Jimin as he finally gets into the car, " I ran into someone, but don't worry, I managed to buy everything you asked for," Jimin explains.

Curiously, Taehyung asks, "Who did you run into?" To which Jimin casually responds, "Oh, just someone you don't know."

Taehyung observes Jimin for a moment, shaking his head in disbelief. "Alright, keep it a secret then. Maybe I'll mention it to Namjoon. He can find out for me," Taehyung smirks. Laughing at Taehyung's feeble attempt to blackmail him, Jimin retorts, "Go ahead, you silly."

With his attention now focused on driving, Taehyung glances at the side mirror and spots Jin, "It seems like I know who you ran into, Jimin," Taehyung says aloud. Jimin follows Taehyung's gaze in the same direction.

He couldn't help but ask about Jin's well-being, so he asked Jimin, "How is he doing?"

Jimin questions back, "Do you really want to know?" Nodding in response, Taehyung insists, "Yes, I do."

Jimin nonchalantly replies, "Well, he's been working the same shift for the past 11 months, and he's currently working on fixing his brain." Confused, Taehyung probes further, "What do you mean by 'fixing his brain'?"

Tae remains silent, choosing to keep his mouth shut in response. Jimin's feelings towards Jin have changed, and he could go on and on about listing Jin's flaws.
Jimin lets out a sigh and gazes at Jin, who is in the process of loading his belongings into the car trunk, completely unaware of the onlookers observing him.

"Can I ask you about something, Taehyung?" Jimin asks.

"What is it?" Tae responds, his eyes focused on the road ahead, "What if he comes back, like he said he would? Do you think you could forgive him?" Jimin queries.

"There's nothing to forgive. I initiated the divorce. In the end, it was a mutual decision," Tae explains, "I'm simply informing you of this, Namjoon entrusted me with this secret. On the day he discussed your divorce, he saw your Dad's messages, which ultimately led him to conclude that he is actually not deserving of you," Jimin reveals.

"He knew how much he meant to me, but that's not a valid excuse," Tae's eyes flicker, indicating to Jimin that he should stop discussing the matter.

Jin had fulfilled Hoseok's request and brought everything he had asked for. However, his mind was preoccupied with the roughness he was currently facing in his life. Jin had recently started working a four-hour shift at the hospital from 5 to 9, and he also had therapy sessions twice a week. Although he tried to hide it from others, the loss of his baby had taken a toll on his mental health. Every day, he found himself crying and longing for his child while also dealing with the pain of leaving Taehyung, even though it was a mutual decision.
