Everlasting

"Show your bump to me," Jimin asserts to Seokjin as Jin responds with a smile, "Here you go." He lifts his shirt for Jimin to see,

Jin brings up the topic of Namjoon, asking, "Have you considered having a child with him?" Jimin's smile fades, he rolls his eyes and retorts, "We haven't even gotten married yet. Besides, I don't think he is interested in becoming a parent," his voice is tinged with disappointment. "He claims to have experienced it all in the labor room, so the idea doesn't sit well with him."

Jin looks at Jimin, taken aback, and questions, "But you still want to have children, don't you?" Jimin falls silent at the question. "If you two aren't on the same page, you need to have a conversation about it. Time is passing by," Jimin straightens his posture, contemplating the situation. "But what if we break up? I hope that someday we'll be able to have a child."

Jin suggests, "You should discuss it with him yourself, Jimin. Communication is key." Jimin nods, saying, "I will." Jimin turns the question around, asking, "And how about you and Taehyung?" Jin's heart feels warm witnessing how caring Taehyung has been towards Jimin. "We're doing better. I was afraid at first, but Taehyung has been incredibly supportive. I'm in a better place now."

"I will get going now," Jin announces, rising from his seat. " Are you planning to drive yourself? Allow me to accompany you,"

"No, Taehyung is picking me up," Jin responds, standing up from the sofa. "He mentioned that we have plans,"

"You will walk alone to where the car is, correct? Let me escort you there," Jimin also stands up but sits back down upon seeing Taehyung approaching them,

"He has been exceptionally cautious with me." He smiles widely at Taehyung. "Let's go, baby,"

"You are all dressed up. Where are we headed? I feel underdressed," Jin complains.

"I believe you look perfectly fine, but if you wish, we can make a quick stop for shopping," he kisses Jin's cheeks. "Well then, let's go,"

He glances at Jimin to bid farewell, and Jimin gives him a thumbs up, confusing him. Perhaps that is just his new gesture,

After shopping, Taehyung drives them towards the court. "What's up? Why are we here?"

" Considering your previous statement about not wanting a lavish wedding and your strong dislike for the idea of having a child before being married, I believe it is appropriate for us to proceed with registering our marriage, especially now that the due date is approaching,"

Taehyung faced Jin, who appeared flustered and lowered his head. "You should have informed me," he said.

"I wanted it to be a surprise, but if you're not comfortable with it," Jin cut him off by kissing him. "I want us to get married. I've kept that to myself for the past nine months. I'm glad you finally brought it up," he cried. "I love you, Seokjin."

"I love you too. Let's go. I also have another surprise for you."

After registering their marriage, they drove towards their next plan, which took them a while to reach. Jin had fallen asleep on their way to their destination.

"Love, wake up," Taehyung nudged Jin gently, and Jin immediately woke up. With disheveled hair and drool on his mouth, he tried to hide it. Taehyung helped him clean up and then brushed his hair. "Alright, we are set to go."

" We've traveled a long way to get here. It is now nighttime," Jin says with exhaustion as he steps out of the car. "Yeah, it did take us quite a while," Taehyung adds with a sigh.

As they enter, Jin suddenly realizes that they have arrived at a beautifully decorated church. He glances at Taehyung, who is already kneeling in front of him. "Even though we've already registered our marriage, Kim Seok Jin, will you marry me?" Taehyung asks, bringing out a ring and proposing to Jin.

Without hesitation, Jin responds, "Yes, a hundred times yes," He laughs and extends his hand to Taehyung.

Taehyung carefully slips the ring onto Jin's ring finger. It's just the two of them and a celebrant in the room. Finally, they have officially tied the knot. "Now, it's your turn to say your vows," the celebrant prompts.

Seokjin hadn't prepared, not that he needed to, but Taehyung took the lead. "Nine months ago when I found out you were pregnant, I had imagined this day and couldn't wait for it to arrive. But in the meantime, it was tough to see you so closed off and anxious. I couldn't bear it, but I stayed strong because I promised myself I wouldn't let us slip away again. And there's something I want you to know, Seokjin. I will never leave your side ever again. I am deeply in love with you, and that will never change. So please remember that you can always rely on me, no matter what. When work becomes overwhelming or if our relationship feels too much, I'll be there to help you through it. I hope you never feel alone again, and I'm truly sorry for causing you to feel that way before. I know I worried you a lot in the past, but I give you my word that none of that will ever happen again."

By the end, both of them were in tears. "All I ask is for you to stay safe and healthy, Taehyung. Just do that for me and our child. I love you more than words can express, and I promise you, I will never give up on us. You can also count on me for anything you need."

" You may now kiss," the priest announces before stepping away. Taehyung leans in and plants a kiss on Seokjin, holding him close. "I don't say it enough, do I?" Taehyung pauses, gazing into Jin's eyes. "I love you, I love you, I love you."

Jin chuckles, "I love you too. Thank you for this. It's beautiful. Also, i have two bands now," Jin adds, "I'm too pregnant to walk around."

" it's alright. You can keep wearing the other one on your neck. Also, i can carry you," Taehyung offers. "Sure, but you might hurt your back. I'm too heavy," Jin replies. He was shy that Taehyung had noticed the ring on his neck.

Taehyung surprises Jin by lifting him up. "See, not heavy at all," Jin gasps. "Hey, put me down," Jin protests, but Taehyung continues to carry him around the church. "I started going to church a lot when you were sick," Jin says, playing with Taehyung's buttons.

"That's why I wanted to get married again in one, to show God how grateful we are," Taehyung smiles.

"Grateful that, in the end, we still have each other."
