The next morning I woke up and showered. I dressed myself in jeans and a t-shirt. I slipped on my socks and black vans. I straightened my hair and coated my lashes in mascara. When I walked downstairs and into the kitchen I found that my dad made breakfast. I laughed and found pancakes that spelled out my name on a plate. I smiled and kissed his cheek good morning and thanked him. I instagrammed my breakfast and ate. Once I finished eating I put my plate in the sink and went back upstairs to brush my teeth. I grabbed a sweater an my book bag and phone. I said goodbye to my parents and walked to the bus stop. I put my headphones in and turned the volume up. Aubriee drove by in her moms old car. I turned my head and ignored the fact that she was tryin to wave me down. I scoffed and boarded the bus as it pulled to a stop. Is she serious? She thinks she knows everything. The bus drove off and I settled in my seat.

When I arrived at school I went straight to my locker and grabbed my binder for first period. I took my seat and wrote my name on my paper, then wrote the date.

Gabbie Brooks
May 14th
Period; 1
Teacher; A. Johnson

The holocaust.

I began writing down the notes and there was a knock at the classroom door. I ignored it and the teacher answered it.

"You're late Vincent"

I peeked my head up a little bit and smiled and his messy hair.
He shrugged his shoulders and sat in the back of the classroom. That's weird. I texted him quickly and told him to come sit with me. He read my message and ignored it. I frowned. Had I done something wrong?

I shook the feeling away and continued taking notes. I heard Vinny and his friends talking and laughing behind me. I shrugged it off and continued taking notes. My phone vibrated on the table and I glanced over at it to see an unknown number. That's weird? I unlocked my phone to see a penis picture and a winky face emoji. Disgusting. I sighed and deleted the message and placed my phone in my lap. I continued with my note taking until my phone vibrated again. Same number, once again. I sighed and opened it again to see a picture of a naked man once again. I turned my phone off and set it in my bag.

When the bell rang indicating that it was now time for lunch I stopped by my locker and put my books away. As I went to close my locker someone stepped infront of it.

"Its not nice to ignore your text messages"

"You're a pig James. How'd you even get my number?"

He laughed and turned to walk away, but before he did, he kissed my cheek. I gagged in response and shut my locker. I made sure it was locked and turned around to see Vinny and Eli walking down the hall. Eli stopped and hugged me while Vinny looked away from the sight of me.

"Where are you headed?"

"To lunch, Elijah. Where else would I be going?"

"Oh I dunno, you did sneak out of the house the other night like I wouldn't notice."

"I was tipsy. I took a walk around the block to clear my head. I wasn't feeling well"

"You were gone four hours, Gabriella."

He spoke sternly. I seriously love Eli to death but he's so over protective.

"It was a long block"

I said simply and walked to the lunchroom. Eli followed me to make sure that I was really going to the cafeteria and I rolled my eyes. I smiled to the lunch lady and said hello. She greeted me back and I stood in line for my lunch. I looked around the lunchroom for our group and spotted Noah's hair. I smirked, ordered my lunch and paid for my food. I sat next to my twin brother and took a pickle off of the side of his plate next to his burger. He scolded me and I laughed. Mia sat next to me and admired my nails.
