Chapter Twenty-two

*Danni's P.O.V.*

The next day I found myself very irritable. I didn't wanna be around anybody but myself. When my alarm clock woke me, I shut it off and rolled back over. My parents left for work and I sighed heavily. Why am I in such a bad mood? I got out of the bed and went downstairs. I made bacon, pancakes and hashbrowns. I was starving. I cooked and I ate and went back upstairs with a bowl of apples and peanut butter. I climbed back into my bed and turned on One Tree Hill. I shoved a spoonful of peanut butter into my mouth and sighed deeply.

When lunch had come Elijah drove me to wawa. Even though I've been bitchy to him all day, he's being as sweet as possible. I'm so grateful to have him in my life. He always makes sure I'm happy. I got a burrito bowl, pickles, and veggie straws. I also got ice cream and soda. This baby wants me to gain five hundred pounds. Elijah paid for my food and drove me home. He kissed my cheek and went back to school. I went upstairs and ate my food. My phone rang and I sighed.

Received;

Gabbiieeee; hey. No school today?

Sent;

No not today. Don't feel so great.

Received;

Gabbiieeee; ohh. What's wrong?

Sent;

This baby wants me to gain five hundred pounds. Can't wait till this pregnancy is over. Don't ever get pregnant.

Shit. I brought up her being pregnant.

She didn't answer my text and I can see why she hasn't. I sighed once more and continued to eat.

*Noah's P.O.V*

I sat at the table and shoved my pizza into my mouth. My mouth watered as I chewed and I groaned internally. I was truly starving. I opened my water and chugged some of it. Then, I opened my bag of chips. I continued eating as Aubriee walked by my table and scoffed. I chuckled and shook my head. Wait till I tell Gabbie that she called her a smut.

Maia joined me at the table and didn't bother eating. She pushed her lunch tray to the middle of the table, which meant that it was fair game. I took a French fry off of her plate and popped it into my mouth.

"Gross, I hate mozzarella sticks."

Elijah said as he put them in the middle of the table. Maia took them and bit into one. Mason joined our table and Maia stopped eating. I frowned. She pushed the mozzarella sticks to the middle of the table and sighed. Gabbie and Teagan joined us next. Gabbie took a mozzarella stick and sat down. Teagan put his apple sauce in the middle and took Maia's fries.

"What's up your girlfriends ass?"

Gabbie asked Eli. Eli got defensive.

"Why are you being a bitch about it?"

"Excuse me? You're girlfriends having a rough time being pregnant and she brings mine up cause she's in a bad mood. But I'm being a bitch, right?"

*Gabbie's P.O.V*

I rolled my eyes and opened my water. I took a big gulp and looked up to see Vin. I looked down, swallowed my water, and tried to avoid eye contact.

"Hey Gabbie."

He said quietly as he walked behind me. I sighed sharply.

"Can I help you ?"

I snapped.

"I was only trying to be friendly. You don't have to be like that."

He said defensively. I sighed.

"I'm sorry. I'm just in a bad mood."

"It's cool. I'll see you in class"

He said and walked to his own table. I ate another mozzarella stick and sat back in my seat. Maia sighed and played on her phone avoiding conversation. I looked towards Mason and he was scarfing down his food. Not even noticing Maia. I scoffed and picked up my orange and threw it at his chest.

"What the fuck?"

He exclaimed. I smiled and Maia giggled.

*Teagan's P.O.V*

Gabbie threw my orange at Mason and Maia laughed. I noticed that Maia hadn't had any food in front of her. Then I noticed her whole tray was up for grabs in the middle of the table. I frowned and sighed softly.

"It's so hot outside like why are we still here and not at home swimming and having a BBQ?!"

Mason groaned.

"Really about to leave. Like fuck this. But after i eat these mozzarella sticks."

Gabbie laughed.

"We honestly should. Like no ones even here."

I laughed.

"Let's goo"

Noah said as he got up and headed toward the exit of the lunchroom. We all followed close behind. We all went to Eli's and Aunt Shannon sighed as she saw us all strolling in the house.

"I just cleaned."

She laughed.

"Sorry mom."

Noah said and kissed her cheek. Gabbie and Maia went upstairs and got changed I'm assuming. Eli, Noah, Mason and I took turns in the bathroom getting changed. Uncle Luke came home and found us all and laughed.

"Don't you fucks go to school?"

We shrugged our shoulders and Aunt Shannon groaned.

"I'll make burgers"

Uncle Luke laughed.

Gabbie jumped down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. She pulled a brownie off of a plate and bit into and smiled.

"I love your baking mom."

"Don't we all?"

I laughed.

I walked out onto the deck and found Noah and Elijah fighting to throw one another into the pool. I walked over to them and pushed them both in. Mason laughed and jumped in as well. I sat in a chair under the shade and Aunt Shannon brought out some chips and sodas. I thanked her and she smiled.

"So Teagan, any girlfriends?"

My uncle asked. I laughed and shook my head no.

"Soccer is way more important than a girl."

I replied and he chuckled.

"I suppose. But highschool is the time you start searching for your future wife."

I scoffed.

"I'm not worried about females. I'm focused on my career."

"You say that now."

I rolled my eyes. I don't want a girl distracting me from my future. I don't have to time to be worried about a girl.
