Not Our Parents

Chapter Four

Danni's P.O.V

"i'm so sorry." I spoke quietly.

Everyone stayed quiet, while waiting for someone else to speak up, but nobody did. We sat in silence for a good five minutes, that is until Shannon broke silence.

"Well, I'm not exactly thrilled, but, I will be here for you guys, through every step of the way." She said sincerly.

"Thanks mom." Eli spoke.

"As will I. Being a teen parent is a struggle. You're gonna need all the help you can get." Luke said as unawkward as he could.

I smiled slightly and thanked them.

"I'm gonna be an aunt? I'm fourteen!" Gabbie screeched. "YES!" She yelled.

I laughed and shook my head.

Noah nodded his head. "I'll be here for ya."

"Thanks bud."

"Sweetheart, you're seventeen. You're not ready for a baby. Think of your future." my mom finally said.

I sighed, "I am thinking of my future, and right now, my future's showing a baby in my arms as I feed them a warm bottle."

She nodded her head, "If thats what you want baby. I'll be here the whole way."

I smiled. She took that better than I thought.

We ate dinner in silence. Nobody really knew what to say. I helped Shannon clear the table and wash the dishes. She brought the brownies out to the living room and put them on the table. Everyone took one. I took a bite and the warm chocolate made my mouth water. I smiled and gave her a thumbs up. She laughed and shook her head.

"I'll make you a doctors appointment tomorrow morning to find out just how far along you are." my mom said.

"I can't be farther than a month." I said looking down.

Eli rubbed my back to calm me down. It wasn't until then I realized I was shaking. I took a deep breath and sipped my water. I relaxed a little bit and took a bite of my brownie.

Later that night I got changed into shorts and a tshirt. I laid in my bed and watched reruns of greys anatomy while I read 'The Fault in Our Stars.' I talked to Eli on the phone for about two hours, then I got myself a bowl of popcorn and went back upstairs to continue reading and watching tv. I fell asleep with my hand in the bowl and with the book on my chest.

Gabbie's P.O.V

I woke up and beat my alarm as I always did. I climbed out of bed and grabbed a towel and walked into my bathroom. I stripped of my clothes and turned the hot water on in the shower. I admired my tattoo on my hip and smiled. It was a little purple feather with birds flying away from it. Aubriee has the same one on the opposite hip. When the water was warm enough I got in the shower and let it run down my back. I washed my hair and body and face. When I was finished I got out of the shower and wrapped myself in my towel and another around my hair. I walkes into my room and put on rainbow animal print panties and a black bra to match. I put vasaline on my healing tattoo and lotion all over my body. I slipped on a peach v-neck and a pair of grey leggings. I dried my hair and curled it into tight ringlets. I put on light brown eyeshadow and lined my eyes with black liquid eyeliner then lined my water line with eyeliner. I fixed any mistake I could have made then put on deoderant and my Pink Sugar perfume. When I was done getting ready I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen. My mom made me waffles and strawberries, the perfect breakfast. I poured myself a glass of lemon water and ate my breakfast while I texted Aub to remind her to clean and put vasaline on her tattoo. After I finished my breakfast, I drank my water, then I put my dishes in the sink. I grabbed my earphones and schoolbag and left for school. I met up with Aubriee and Danni. The three of us walked to school together. We walked in silence, but it was comfortable.

My first class was biology. My crush, Vinny, was here. I smiled to myself and looked down at the ground. I fixed my shirt and opened the door. I held my books to my chest and walked to my seat.

"Gabbie, right?"

I turned around and Vinny smiled.

"Yea"

I chuckled.

"Wanna sit here for today? Calum isn't here and I don't wanna be alone"

He chuckled.

"Oh, yea"

My heart dropped a little bit, but picked itself back up because, uhm, who doesn't want to sit next to Vincent Stabler?! I sat my binder on the table and sat in the chair next to him. I opened my book and turned to the next clean page.

Teacher; A. Johnson

                                                     The Revolutionary war

"Hey, do you have an extra pencil? I can't find one in my bag."

Vincent asked. I smiled and handed him mine. He smiled and wrote the date on his paper. I searched through my bag for another pen. I finally found one and continued my work.

When the teacher decided she was leaving in the middle of the class, we were left with no more work to finish. Vincent nudged me in my side. I looked over and smiled to him. He smirked.

"So you're Noah and Eli's sister?"

I sighed.

"Sadly."

He chuckled.

"Oh come on, it can't be that bad. You have Mason and Teagan as your cousins, too."

I scoffed.

"Because thats any better."

He laughed.

"Not a fan of the boys in your family?"

"I'm the only girl out of all of us. It's ridiculous."

"So, you get all the attention. You're the one they all protect."

I laughed in his face.

"Them? Protect me? Thats a good one. Oh god."

He laughed.

"What about you?"

"Both of my parents are the only child so am I"

I nodded my head.

"I guess thats good."

"I'm just fucking with you, my older brother, Travis, and Eli used to play basketball together."

"Ohhh, now I remember."

He laughed.

"What's up with that number?"

He smirked. I looked down at my lap and blushed.

"Don't know how to count?"

He laughed.

"very funny,"

"I know"

"Seriously though. Why don't we get to know each other better?"

"Okay"

I wrote my number on a slip of paper and handed it to him. The bell rang, indicating that first class was now over. He nudged me again.

"Text ya soon."

He winked. I blushed and looked at the ground as I walked to my next class.

On another note, happy 18th birthday to my best friend, who plays Lexie (Aubriee's mom) in real life! And to the twins in story life lololol. I'll do the next few chapters in Gabbie's p.o.v because
