After some more tearful goodbyes to the other trainees, we were shuffled into the green room to change into new outfits. They had taken pictures of us in them before the finale, in case any of us debuted. Including Danie and K. However, it was just us eight. We filmed a very awkward greeting video, that we had to film multiple times over. We kept stumbling over the script we were given.

When the video was done and we were allowed to leave, we were led to the company van where we'd be driven to our new dorms. That was apparently all set up for us already. Before we left I changed out of my platform boots and into sneakers. I sat between Jungwon and Jay in the back of the van. "Ah, I'm so tired," I mumbled, setting my bag down in front of me.

"What's that you got?" Jungwon laughed, pointing to the small sign in my hand.

"EJ gave it to me. It's some words of encouragement," I said, showing off the sparkly letters.

Jay took off his blazer, "I'm so excited to see our dorm!"

"I feel like it's just flying by," Heeseung added. "We debuted today and we're going to our dorm today."

"Isn't it one room?" I asked skeptically, vaguely remembering the details we were given.

"It is. But it'll be cool that we'll be under a different ceiling," Jay pointed out.

Jake turned around excitedly,, peaking his head over the seat "It's not the blue room anymore. It's our dorm now!"

"I miss the blue room," I sighed, "And the ghost. It was like my best friend," I joked. Many of the boys glared at me, including Jungwon. I laughed knowing they were still very afraid of the ghost, "Don't be mean! It's probably been living there more than us."

Nothing else was said, we were all marveling at the sight of... well the outside world. It felt like forever since I've been in the city. Or seen just regular people walking on the street. When we left I-Land, we were quickly taken to the studio with no stops outside, going in from the back parking lot so we couldn't be seen.

All of us entered the door with excitement. I quickly kicked off my shoes, adding to the pile in front of the door. It was very empty and very clean. All the tables and floors looked freshly polished. I doubt it would last long, but the thought was there.

The dining table already had fried chicken and utensils for us. I took off my jacket and hung it over the chair, setting my bag down as well. "Wait, what's over there?" I asked, reaching out to grab Jungwon's arm before he left the kitchen.

"The living room!" Everyone followed Jungwon. The living room was empty besides a TV. There were cameras set up to film the documentary between now and our debut.

"Guys, wait, what about the bedroom?" Jay called out.

"Oh, it's in here!" Jake pointed to the door to our left. We followed Jake inside, curious to see what our room looked like. My eyes widened seeing four bunk beds pressed against the wall, leaving a walkway in the middle.

Jungwon laughed seeing my face while everyone else clapped, "Wah! Chae, your face!"

I shook my head, "This is great," I insisted, with a small laugh. "I'm surprised they managed to fit four bunks," I mumbled.

Connected to the bedroom was a giant walk-in closet, which I thought was a bonus. The other rooms in the dorm was a really nice bathroom. With a standing shower and a tub and a big wink. My favorite room by far was the makeup room with a custom-built vanity with lights.
