Stay - Yang Jungwon 양 정원

"Can we stop now? I wanna get a snack," I said, sitting on the comfortable cold floor.  We've been practicing non-stop for the last couple of hours.  We only had until later today to finish the mini-mission. We practiced late into last night after the test was finished.

Heeseung laughed, "Yeah, we can," He agreed, patting me on my head.

"Chae, you sure you don't want to wait until lunch?" Jay asked.  Out of everyone, he's been the most determined and anxious.  I could tell that this mini-mission meant a lot to him.  He's been on a rush of adrenaline since last night.

But either way, I felt like I was starting to go crazy, "Jay... I will... Do you think it's a good idea to tell a girl to wait for her snacks? Do you?  Because I don't think it is," I said calmly, blinking at Jay.

I held back a laugh when Jay's eyes went wide.  I only smiled sweetly at him while the others stared at us in confusion. "Bring us back some?" Jay muttered looking down at his tablet.

"Noona, what did you tell him?" Niki asked, grinning widely.

"Magician secret," I shrugged, standing up. "Anyone want anything specific?"

Hanbin waved his hand, "Just get whatever.  Thank you!"

As I came upstairs to find snacks, I made a slight detour off the kitchen. Which I was starting to regret as I heard screams coming from the Pretty U practice room.  Carefully, I opened the door and got excited when I saw all six boys practicing in the mirror.  They all looked so forcefully happy.  Very cute.  Except Sunoo who looked to be having the time of his life.

Jungwon caught my eye in the mirror and he immediately stopped dancing, "Yah!  Chaeri!" I laughed as everyone stopped in confusion before seeing me.

I laughed when Sunghoon immediately crumbled to the floor, followed by Jake, "Ah it's over for us!"

"What's up?" I said teasingly as Jungwon hurriedly ran over to me.

Jungwon stood in front of me, blocking most of my sight of the practice room, "Why are you here? Aren't you guys practicing?" He asked with a slight pout, peeking his head outside, probably to see if my unit was down the hall.

"No, I heard someone scream while I was getting snacks.  Which one was it?" I asked, looking over his shoulder.  Daniel, Sunghoon, and Jake were on the floor while Taki and Sunoo were just chit-chatting on the prop couch.

"That would be that hyung!" Daniel answered, pointing at Jungwon who immediately glared at him.

"Ah, well, I'm sure you guys look cute," I assured him, laughing at Jungwon's look of defeat.

"Okay, you know what, go away," Jungwon sighed.

I let out a small gasp as he gently pushed me out of the doorway, "Hey— what?"

"I have dignity to uphold," He reasoned with a small shrug.

"You know..." I looked at Jungwon strangely, "I think we've passed that line already," I pointed out.

"Yeah, yeah, now goodbye!" I stared at Jungwon as he quite literally closed the door in my face.

I waited to see if he was going to open the door, but apparently not. "Rude..." I mumbled turning on my heel to go get the snacks I was supposed to get.

While we were going over the choreography once more, the egg started to light up suddenly.  The timer still had a couple of hours.  It wasn't supposed to ring, but instead, it started turning. "Oh, they're here!" I realized as the rest of the guys froze.
