As Brad stood up and walked forward a bit, four piles of bones rose from their graves, all looking like Mr. Bones, and ready to assault Brad! He backed up in surprise and horror at the sight. Then, without a single warning, the bony ghosts began to throw....their bones at him!

Fearing for his life, he hid behind one of the gravestones like a scaredy rabbit.

"That's because I AM one, you dopey writer! We've got 17 chapters of this story to prove it!" Brad exclaimed.

He then stopped and thought about his couple of moments of bravery that he had as well, remembering that his elder siblings taught him that heroes never go down without a fight, so he decided that he wouldn't either.

"You're right. I can do this!"

Brad ran back to his targets, stunning one of them with his flashlight and sucking it up, all while dodging other bones being flung at him at the same time. Rinse and repeat that for three more times, and all of those bony ghouls were out of the picture. As our long earred buddy celebrated his victory, the tallest gravestone began to glow an ominous shade of purple, gaining his attention.

"I guess I better go see why it's glowing...though I can't imagine that it'll be pleasant..." Brad said, walking up to it.

Once he got close enough, lightning bolts struck it a few times before a ghostly raccoon dressed in a red hood rose from the grave!

Brad screamed as he fell onto his rear as everything went white again. Soon, he found himself in a circular arena with fences reaching up to the skies of this black void, guaranteeing that he wouldn't escape.

"Oh goodie...another boss battle..." Brad whimpered through chattering teeth.

Suddenly, that same ghost appeared in front of Brad, bouncing towards him slowly and ghoulishly. However, this one was all black with only white eyes, and let out heinous moans.

Lightning then struck the ground again, this time summoning more of those black, slimy ghosts. The main one was nowhere to be found at the moment, and Brad tried his best to stay as far away as he could from the ghouls coming to get him. It was like a scene out of a nightmare put into reality!

"No kidding! This is just as bad as when I fought against Winter!" blubbered Brad.

He kept running around from the ghosts out to get him, having no idea what he was supposed to do about this!

"Well, I'm gonna try something anyway!" He yawped as he vacuumed up one of the ghouls, but it didn't go in all the way. Instead, it turned into a moderately sized ball of black slime. "This obviously means something, but what?"

He got his answer when he spotted the red hooded raccoon rising from the ground, laughing like a maniac. This gave the rabbit an idea...he fired the sludge ball at it, covering its entire transparent body. It shook, trying to get the slime off, leaving it open to attack, which Brad did. He began sucking it up and chasing that raccoon around, watching its HP drain until it broke off and disappeared. More lightning struck the floor as those inky black ghosts rose from the ground again, but this time, they started to fling ninja stars made from shadow magic at Brad.

"UH-OH!!!"

He hopped, ducked and twirled like a ballerina to avoid being hit by each of them. Once that was done, the coal black spirits all fused into one and became an arm with a gloved fist that began to try and squash Brad like a fly! He ran around the arena, hopping into the air with each slam the fist made to the ground before they broke apart and began to chase Brad again. At that point, he vacuumed one up as it formed a larger sized black slime ball. The raccoon ghost rose from the ground again, pointing at Brad and laughed in a mocking manner.

"Laugh at me, will ya? Then laugh at this slime ball!!!"

He fired it at his target, covering its body once again. Brad took his chance and began to vacuum it up once more, chasing it around the battlefield before it broke off again. It didn't disappear this time, though. Instead, it turned to Brad, it's white eyes now glowing a dark red as it pointed at him.

"You dare mess with the greatest shadow magic wielding ninja of all time?!" It asked him with a demonic voice.

"Yes I am! You got a problem with that?!" Brad yelled back.

"Hmph. I'll teach you a lesson on what happens when you mess with Ashley T. Raccoon! Once I'm through with you, you'll wish you were never drawn...

Ashley then began chanting a spell that Brad wasn't familiar with, but this more of those black and slimy ghouls to appear and engulf her. Our hero watched in fear as the beast before him grew taller and taller until he looked like a mere cockroach to it. Now, Ashley had become a giant black ghost with piercing dark red eyes, her hood now didn't cover her head, and she had a smile full of shark like teeth. She looked down at Brad with a sinister grin and said:

"Time to say nighty night, bunny boy..."

"Meep..." Brad said, his eyes having shrunk in utter terror.

He started running for his life again as giant black ninja starts were flung at him, one after the other. Next came the huge fist trying to flatten him once more, but Brad managed to evade it each time. This enraged Ashley as she raised her hand, making more of those slimy ghouls drop down like drops of blood to do her biding. Knowing he needed a big ball of slime to cover her head, Brad waited until each of them were close enough, then began to suck them up until they formed a massive black ball. He pointed it at the large raccoon ghost and said:

"Nighty night to you, Ashley!"

He fired it, covering her entire head in the goop, making her shrink back down to normal size. Our long earred hero used this opportunity to vacuum her up one more time. He chased her around the arena until finally, she got sucked into the Spirit Sucker 5000. Brad celebrated by doing a little spin and held up double peace signs, feeling proud of himself for defeating another boss. Everything went white once more, and he found himself back in the Graveyard, where a large, golden treasure chest awaited him.

"Let's see what's inside you." He said to himself.

Brad opened the chest to see not just a big, green, club shaped key, but two framed portraits of none other than...

"Isabella! Jeffrey!"

Just then, another transmission from Professor Nicole was coming through, so Brad was quick to respond.

"Brad, my friend! Good to see you're still ok! I lost your signal when that lightning struck." She spoke, sounding incredibly relieved.

"Don't worry about me, professor. I'm ok!" Brad informed her, sounding quite cheerful.

"Hmm, that was some battle you had. Why not come back to the Lab?" Nikki asked, seriously wanting him to come back to her lab!

"Ok, I'll be right over with two more paintings of my friends to boot!" Brad said before the communication was cut off.

With a big grin on his face, he grabbed the two portraits and began to rush his way back to Professor Nicole's Lab.
