Fearing the dark unknown, the Toon rabbit approached the sealed door in the Foyer. He knew he'd be facing tougher challenges from here on out. Right when he stopped in front of the sealed door, the thorns blocking it began to pulsate rapidly. It got faster and faster until they disintegrated into thin air, granting Brad the opportunity to unlock the door and head inside.
"Well, in spite of whatever ghouls are beyond this door, including some bosses that might be more vicious than Winter, I gotta do this. I made a promise, and a Watson always keeps their promise!" Brad thought in his mind.
He took out the key from his pocket, slid it into the keyhole, and unlocked the door. next, he grabbed onto the doorknob and pulled it open slowly and shakily.
Our titular hero entered a dark hallway, immediately turning on his flashlight. He tried to open many doors as he walked by them, but they all seemed to be locked. He continued down the path and stopped when he heard a strange, squeaking sound. He looked up at the ceiling and nearly had a heart attack when he saw what was coming at him.
"EEEEEK! GHOST BATS!!!!!!!"
He ran around in circles, trying to avoid being bitten by the pests swooping down at him. He quickly grabbed the hose and vacuumed them up one by one, until they were all gone. He stood there for a moment, catching his breath and clenching his chest, feeling his racing heart beat away.
"Gotta...keep...going..." He panted, sweat rolling down his head.
As he continued his quest, he tried opening many doors, only for them to be locked. Even worse, he didn't have any more keys. Eventually, he came across two doors. He tried to open the first one, but was met with a voice that said:
"Err, uh... OCCUPIED!"
"Oh, um...ok, my bad." Brad said, nervously backing away from the door. Before trying the other one, he thought of another door he went past by earlier, and decided, "I'll try that one first."
Brad walked back over to this door, which lead to the Breaker Room. He walked down a flight of stairs and entered said room. It was pitch black in there, but Brad had his flashlight, so he'd be alright. Ghost mice scurried across the floor, but he sucked them in with his vacuum cleaner in a matter of seconds. He then said to himself...
"Well, as long as I'm here, might as well see if there's any dough down here!"
He strolled over to a nearby table, and used the Spirit Sucker 5000 to vacuum up the cloth and whatnot. Just then, out of the blue, another Speedy Spirit showed up! Of course, Brad made quick work of it and sucked it up. Like something magical, gold coins and dollar bills burst out of the ghost and showered him in its glorious wealth. Plus, there was also a dark blue gemstone that looked like it would cost a fortune!
"I think I said this a few chapters ago, but if I didn't, then here goes. By the end of this story, I am gonna be a very wealthy rabbit." Brad said, smirking a bit.
After that, he waited for more ghosts to arrive, but they never did, and the room stayed dark. Not wanting to waste anymore time, he left the Breaker Room and went back upstairs. Brad checked the map on his watch, finding a door that was unlocked, the one he was about to open before choosing to go downstairs.
Brad ventured to it, avoiding more ghost bats and mice that irritatingly got in the way, making him scream and run around blindly. Once he reached his destination, he opened the door that led to the Bathroom.
The sound of a running shower grabbed his attention as his eyes landed on the curtain covering the shower/bathtub hybrid. His face was now painted with confusion and bafflement. What in the world?
