Brad observed his surroundings, having now entered Nana's Room.
"Given the track record of ghosts around here, she's probably waiting in the darkness for the chance to jumpscare me..." He nervously gulped.
Turning off his flashlight, he soon spotted the ghost of this room, rocking about on...well, the rocking chair. He quickly scanned its heart, getting the info he needed.
"Let's see... This is Nana Melissa, the Scarf Knitting Ghost. Once a renowned hero who could take down foes using only her bow and arrows, she retired and took up knitting. However, she fell victim to a deadly illness and passed away before finishing the scarf. She now spends her afterlife trying to finish it. It's currently 875 feet long." Brad read, feeling surprised over the length of that scarf.
Feeling bad for Melissa, he wondered if he really should vacuum her up. Suddenly, she began to speak.
"Hey, it's a funny rabbit. Might as well play with him! Heeheehee!!!"
She began to chase him while still sitting in her rocking chair, prompting Brad to run. He spotted a little bowl full of yarn balls, and decided to grab one. Without even thinking twice, he simply threw a blue yarn ball, squaring Melissa right in the face! This made her squeal loudly in surprise and pain.
"Welp, looks like I got my battle strategy!" Brad said, grabbing some more yarn balls.
He ducked behind a couch, sucked up a purple yarn ball to act as a cannonball and aimed it at his target. Brad then fired it at her, knocking her back once more. This time, Melissa's chair began floating in the air as she started to shoot lasers from her eyes!
"Yipe!!!" Brad shouted, evading a laser beam aimed at his face. He then vacuumed up his last bit of ammo, which was a red yarn ball, and launched it at Melissa's face once more, watching as she squealed again.
The rabbit saw this as his big chance to vacuum her up, so he stunned her with his flashlight, exposing her heart. He then began sucking her with the Spirit Sucker 5000, chasing the ghost around the room as more pearls fell to the floor. Once Melissa was out of the picture, the lights shined brightly once again and another treasure chest appeared in the middle of the room. After grabbing each small, medium and large pearl, he went to the chest and took out another key, quickly pocketing it.
"Now since that's taken care of, where's that little Gremlin Spirit?" Brad asked, searching around the room.
He first checked a tall drawer, which didn't have the spirit, but more cash at the very least! Once he pocketed all of that, he then checked the spinning wheel, and out it came!
"Stinky, stinky LimToonger!" It cackled.
"I'm starting to think the names of these Gremlins are getting lazier and lazier by the chapter... Anyway, prepare to meet the same fate as the rest of your colleagues!" Brad growled, pointing his vacuum at the pest.
One suction process later, and it was sucked into Brad's vacuum. Satisfied, he left Nana's Room and reentered the Hallway. Deciding that his next destination was the room with the door on fire, he made a quick trip to the Bathroom to get a Water Elemental Ghost and walked over to that burning door, dousing the flames with water. He then unlocked that door and entered the Tea Room.
"Why's it so cold in here?" Brad mumbled through chattering teeth, his knees shaking.
He walked further into the room to look for more ghosts, when out of nowhere, Brad ended up on the ceiling!
"What the?!" He said out of shock.
Then, on cue, several of the plates, bowls and teacups started to fly off the shelves and were aimed at our long earred hero! He evaded as many as he could, hearing them smash against the wall behind him. To make matters worse, more of those grabby ghosts appeared and began floating towards Brad. He quickly sucked them up, all while trying not to get shards of dishes and cups pierced into his skin. Sure, it took a bit, but he managed to capture every ghost and ended the madness. The lights came back on, and a white treasure chest appeared on the left table.
"Glad that's over with! Now...how do I get down from here?" Brad asked himself, looking around.
He spotted a weird looking symbol on the ceiling, figuring that might have something to do with this. He placed both of his feet on it, and found himself back on the floor!
"Huh, how convenient."
Brad went over to the chest and opened it, taking out another emblem, this one having an ice symbol on it. Right on schedule, his watch started beeping, and he raised it to his face, seeing Professor Nicole again.
"Hey now, Brad! What did you find now? Let me see!" She yawped in excitement.
The rabbit nodded and showed her the emblem he put in his pocket. Her eyes grew huge behind her glasses as she gasped.
"That's the Ice Medallion! Now you can use the Ice Element!" She declared in astonishment.
"Really? That's wonderful!" The rabbit said in amazement.
"Hey, Long Ears! Disney called, they want their ice queen's power back!" Isabella joked, slapping her knee in laughter.
Brad ignored the obvious joke and let Professor Nicole keep speaking.
"Now then, Ice Elemental Ghosts can be found in chilly places such as refrigerators. Just like the other two Elemental Ghosts, you can use its abilities to your benefits upon vacuuming them up! Simply press the L Button to expel a short burst, or all the way down to release a frigid lump of ice!" Nikki explained.
"That does sound cool!...no pun intended, of course." Brad grinned.
"That's a very convenient item you found there, my friend. Anyway, good luck on the rest of your journey, Brad! Adios!" She was then gone.
The youngest Watson hurriedly decided to try out his new ice abilities by shaking a container full of ice. How it stayed frozen in this heated room was a mystery to him, but he chose not to question this seeing as how he did impossible things every day as a Toon. Anywho, after shaking it, an ice spirit came out and floated around before Brad vacuumed it up, now gaining its powers! He blasted out a small ball of ice and watched as it froze a cup of tea that sat on the table into a block of ice!
"Sweeeet!" Brad whistled. "Now to find the Gremlin in this room."
One search later, it came flying out with a loud cackle, wriggling its noodle arms around.
"Jingle, Jangle, I'm Mr. Lou-Jangles!!!!" It cheerfully chortled.
"Is it so? Then feel free to get acquainted with MY VACUUM!!!!" Brad barked as he began sucking it up until it was gone.
Done with that, he left the Tea Room to head who knows where?....Well, maybe the writer does.
"It's all up to him now, folks." Brad said, looking at the camera.
