When we last left our titular hero, he found himself locked in the Mirror Room, with more ghosts no doubt coming for him. But I'm certain he's taken care of them at this point, right?
"UGH! AGH!!! Get off me! GET OFF ME!!!!!"
Ok, maybe not. One of those grabby ghosts got ahold of Brad and wouldn't let go. Upon breaking free from its grasp, he whipped out the Spirit Sucker 5000 and sicked it upon that ghoul, sucking it up.
He clenched his chest, fearing a heart attack would be imminent for him.
"What is this, like the third time that line was written?" Brad said between breaths.
Suddenly, two blue ghosts appeared. making their ghoulish sounds as they floated towards Brad. He quickly jumped into the fray and drained their HP until they also were sucked in. Eventually, all of the ghosts were taken care of, and the lights came back on. There was even a red treasure chest that appeared in the middle of the room, which looked beautiful!
"That, I agree with! Now let's see what's inside of you."
He walked over to it, opened it up, and pulled out a strange looking red medal with a fire symbol on it. Also, it was covered in mini flames that were surprisingly not burning Brad's hand right now.
"What in the world is this? Some kind of secret weapon?" He thought to himself.
Suddenly, Professor Nicole called, and Brad was quick to answer.
"Say, Brad, what did you find there? Let me take a look."
Brad showed her the medal, and she adjusted her glasses to get a better look at it.
"Let's see...ahhh...it's...a Fire Medallion! Now you can use the fire element!"
"For real?!" Brad whooped, dancing in joy.
"Yes sir, with that, you can now catch Fire Elemental Ghosts!" Nikki revealed in a happy tone, dancing too.
"Wait...what are those?" Brad asked.
"Hmm? What's a Fire Elemental Ghost, you ask? Why, they show up wherever you see fire, my friend! Legends say that they were responsible for creating it, and even bless some Toons with the ability to control it themselves!" She explained.
"Just like Melody." He thought.
"If you approach a flame, they'll be surprised by your presence and leap out into the air. At which point, you can vacuum them up, and expel fire using the L Button."
"L Button?" Brad said, confused. He looked over the Spirit Sucker and saw a button on the underside of the vacuum with the letter L on it. "Oh."
You can melt ice, light candles, and loads of other things! A meter will appear at the bottom of the watch's screen, so keep an eye on how much of the element's power you have left, ok, Brad?'
"Got it." He replied.
"You might also have to use the fire element to beat some ghosts, so keep that in mind. Don't say I didn't warn you, boyo!" then she cut off the communication.
"Ok, let's see here. There's some fire over there, so maybe there's a Fire Elemental Ghost in there." Brad said, looking at a fire that burned brightly in a corner of the room.
He headed for it, and to his surprise, the ghost in question shot out and Brad quickly sucked it up, now being able to use fire! Excited, he turned back to the door, only to see that it was sealed by the thorns.
"Well, there's gotta be a way to get it open again. But before I figure that out, I gotta see if there's another Gremlin in here." The rabbit said, looking at his watch.
It was indeed beeping red, meaning one was close by, so he searched around the room, shaking each of the long poles with candles on them until he found the right one, making it pop out.
"Feel the wrath of Zhang, master of Kung Fu!!!" It cackled, flying around the room.
"I believe you got that wrong. You will feel the wrath....of my VACUUM!" Brad pointed it at the Gremlin, chasing it as it squealed in damnation until it was sucked in.
"Now then, how to get out....maybe it's gotta do with fire?" Brad asked himself as he looked into the large mirror. It was there that he noticed something.
"Hey, those candles are unlit...maybe that's got something to do with it!"
He hurriedly ran around the room, putting his theory to the test. He lit each trio of candles until they all were blazing with fire. This made the seal on the door burn into ashes, allowing him to leave the room.
"Freedom!!! Now, where to next?" He checked his watch, which showed that his next destination was the Laundry Room, so with another key in hand, Brad started to make his way over there.
