Iroh had asked me to make him a nice meal. I knew today was the anniversary of the death of Lu Ten so I made him extra and packed it up in the basket he'd bought earlier that morning. I waved him off, Zuko came up behind me.
"Is he alright?"
"He seems to be. Just be careful with your words today please, my love."
He looked at me offended, "What do you mean?"
I laughed, turning around and cupping his face, "Sometimes you speak before you think and it can be a bit mean." He frowned, "But I love you just as you are."

It was late when Iroh came home, the dark had descended and most of Ba Sing Se was on its way to bed. When he walked through the door, he saw a sight that warmed his grieving heart. His nephew laying on their bed with his fiance on top of him, back facing his chest. She was playing with his fingers while he nuzzled into her hair. Her fire ferret was curled by his side too. They were talking about random unimportant things but it didn't matter. The way Zuko looked at her, said more than enough.
Though he would forever grieve Lu Ten, the sight reminded him.
He still has a son.
And hopefully their little family would soon grow.

**Zuko's POV**
I noticed her here again. The same girl. While carrying pots to the back, I used the chance to talk to my uncle.
"Uncle, we have a problem. One of the customers is onto us. Don't look now but there's a girl over there at the corner table. She knows we're Fire Nation." My uncle turned to look at her, "Didn't I say don't look!"
"You're right Zuko. I've seen that girl in here quite a lot. Seems to me she has quite a little crush on you."
I froze.
"What?!"
How could she?
I've spoken to her before and-
"Thank you for the tea."
I jumped and turned around. She was there, holding out her money. I took it in silence.
"What's your name?"
"My name's Lee Hong. We just moved here."
The girl smiled at me, "Hi Lee. My name's Jin. Thank you, and-well-I was wondering if you would like to go out sometime?"
I froze.
Again.
No, no, no, no.
My uncle slid in, "He'd love-!"
WHAT?!
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
I panicked and sort of started to yell
"I HAVE A FIANCE!" Jin looked taken aback by my outburst but once I started I couldn't stop, "HER NAME'S ASAMI AND SHE'S VERY PRETTY AND SHE COOKS REALLY WELL AND I LOVE HER AND SHE'S AT WORK RIGHT NOW BUT I'M SURE SHE'D LOVE TO-"
My uncle stopped me, "Okay, Lee, I think that's enough!"
Jin looked embarrassed, "I'm sorry, I didn't know!"
"Don't be. I'm sure you're a lovely girl but..." I thought a moment, "I could never dream of doing that to her. I love her so much."
Jin smiled, "I can tell. Well, I'll see you around Lee."
