Calmly settled by a Fire Nation village, the three benders got down to some training. Sokka had dragged me behind a rock to watch. As Katara and Toph started to instead fight each other, Sokka jumped out from behind a rock.

"AAH! SNEAK ATTACK!" He screamed.

How is it a sneak attack if you announce your sneak attack?

Aang simply earth bended some rock up to stop him. I sighed and decided to give it a go myself. With a tekpi in each hand, I jumped out, more stealthily and rounded on Aang. I slashed at him, the tip of my tekpi just barely grazing his neck as he jumped out of the way.

"Woah, hang on."

I didn't give him the chance to stop as I continued to fight him, dodging any of his own attacks, (though very barely). Throwing a couple shurikens his way, he evaded them with airbending and dodged my darts with water bending. Finally, he encased me in mud to stop.

"Nice job!...now can you let me out?"

As Aang helped me out and I brushed the muck off my dress we looked to our left to see the other two girls fighting in the wet mud.

"Uh, guys, I thought we were supposed to be training me."

They stopped.

Katara squeezed the mud out of her hair, "Very well, pupil. I believe we've had enough training for today."

The Water Tribe girl stalked off, making Toph smile.

"While Katara cleans up, let's go have some fun!"

"YEAH!"

We journeyed down to the nearby town, Sokka's attention being caught by the birds overhead.

"Look at all those messenger hawks. You know, I've been thinking about getting one for myself. That way I wouldn't have to talk to anyone. I could just send them messages!"

Toph smirked, "I gotta say, I like the idea of not talking to you."

"So guys, what're we gonna get with our last silver piece?" Aang asked.

"Um, some food, you know the thing we need for survival." I suggested but the idea didn't seem too appealing.

The earthbender stopped, "We can get more money. Right there."

She pointed down into the street below where some hustler was trying to make money off a carnival game.

"This is where you seeing people are at a disadvantage. Everyone guesses wrong because the dealer moves the rock at the last minute. But I can feel it with my earth bending."

Toph didn't even need to step forward to catch the man's attention, "You there! Want to play a friendly game?"

"How could I possibly play? I'm blind." She said in an innocent voice, waving her hand in front of her eyes.

Toph putting on the defenseless blind girl routine was funny to watch.

"You don't have to see to be lucky."

She knelt down, feeling at the small table and the turned over cups laid on it. Handing him our last silver piece, he smirked, thinking he'd just made easy money. The dealer showed us at first where the rock was before moving around the cups at lightening fast speed. Toph smirked, pointing to the one at the end.

She was right.

"Flame-o, Toph!" Aang congratulated her.

The dealer gave us double our money as a reward, "Wow, fancy guessing. You are amazing at this. Would you like to make the game a little more interesting?"
