Raining melancholy

To my friend in a faraway city
Would you mind If I asked you if you miss me?
My rainbow heart has been a little blue lately.
I recall our sweet memories
They make up for the cup of bland tea I'm having

I wonder how you look now that we're twenty-three
I bet your hazel eyes are just as starry
I wonder if you remember how we used to be at thirteen
I wonder if you're scared of reaching thirty

I wonder as I stare into the pouring sky
If rain for you has also become a feeling of melancholy?
