It was the next day and we were in the woods trying to find the stormcutter and night fury
"How did I mess up this bad?" Hiccup asked
I laughed as we kept going into the woods
"I lost a night fury. A night fury! Why couldn't I have lost my favourite hat or favourite weapon! The gods hate me!" Hiccup whined
"Hey! We lost a stormcutter too. Don't forget about the stormcutter." I stated.
Hiccup sighed and hit a branch as the branch came back and whacked him in the face as I burst out into laughter
"Okay. Okay. Wait, you see that?" I asked
The tree was broken and bent going towards a little hill as hiccup looked up
"Let's go see!" I said
Hiccup went forward towards the hill and when he looked down he immediately crouched down behind a rock
"Oh stop it. It can't be that bad of a drop."
I said
He looked back and did the same thing again but when I looked at the black dragon on the ground in nets I was frozen and in shock that a night fury laid on the ground in concentrated nets.

Hiccup grabbed a knife as we raced the other way and went behind a rock while staring
"Is it dead?" Hiccup asked
"Yes, something that's breathing is obviously dead." I said sarcastically
We approached the night fury quietly as hiccup held the knife
"I did it! I've brought down this beast!"
Hiccup exclaimed happily
Just then the dragon had woke up and roared as hiccup closed in on a rock
"Hiccup..." I said
He went back towards the night fury and it's eyes were clearly opened staring at him
"I gotta do this. Just a warning, I'm gonna kill you and take your heart out so my father can see." Hiccup said
The dragon roared and it seems like it understood what hiccup was gonna do to it. Hiccup pointed the knife to its stomach and looked there and breathed in and out while raising the knife and I stayed silent as the dragon looked and roared in defeat before placing its head down and hiccup lowered the knife
"I did this too it." He stated
"Are you the fix it?" I asked
"Yup." He answered
He began to cut the rope as I approached but quickly went back a bit as the dragon opened its eyes and reacted to the movement.

"Hiccup! Watch out!" I shouted
The dragon broke free and pinned my brother to a rock and I stood there with thoughts going through my head and just then the dragon growled before roaring in hiccups face and flying off but hit a rock and roared in distress
As hiccup fainted
"We need to find the stormcutter! Pass me that knife!" I said
Hiccup just laid there as i looked around
"It couldn't have gone farrrrr..."
I trailed off while looking up
There was a dragon in nets watching just looking at us, it looked more like an owl.
"I'm gonna get you out, I can't kill you."
I stated
I climbed the tree before getting onto a sturdy branch and crawling towards it as the dragon looked up at me
"Hi! Hi. Don't worry." I stated
I cut the ropes as the dragon dropped but hung back like a parachute revealing all four wings and ran off.
(Time skip)
Me and hiccup raced upstairs
"Hiccup. Y/N? We need to talk." Stoick said
"That's what I was about to tell you!"
Hiccup said

"You can fight dragons." Stoick said
"I don't wanna fight dragons." Hiccup said
They said it at the same time and I just watched him
"You go first." Hiccup stated
"I'll let you have your wish. You can fight dragons, tomorrow in the arena, you'll need this." Dad said
"I should've gone first. Do you have much small home repair Vikings or like friend making vikings?" He asked
I grinned as hiccup took an axe and smiled
"Welcome to my life little brother. Don't worry, I'll teach you the ropes of fighting dragons." I stated
Dad nodded
"Carrying this axe means you carry us all. Talk like us, fight like us, walk like us. No more... that. Deal?"
Dad asked and gestured to hiccup
"This conversation is very one sided!"
hiccup pointed out
"Deal?" He asked again
"Deal." Hiccup sighed
"Good. I'll be back. Most likely. Train hard." Dad stated
"Cya!" I exclaimed
"I'll be here. I think." Hiccup huffed.
I smirked as I dragged hiccup upstairs with the axe happily
"Fighting dragons tomorrow is a big thing I must say." I stated
"What if they catch that thing. What if I need to fight it in the arena!" Hiccup said
"That stormcutter is magnificent. Intelligent I must say." I said
"I guess the night fury, is... merciful."
Hiccup stated
"Tomorrow's dragon training with me and the gang! Lucky you! Although Snotlout might not let it down easily that you're joining." I said
"What dragons have you fought?" He asked.

"Mostly gronckles, tomorrow, probably gronckles. Maybe a deadly nadder. Monstrous nightmare is off limits for now, only the best Vikings dare to even look at it." I informed

"That's... Reassuring." Hiccup stated
I laughed while I laid down on my bed and he sat down on it
"That night fury flys a little lopsided." I said
"Yeah. Did you see it? It banged into a rock and a tree! It's not that lopsided when battling!" Hiccup stated
"Just for disclaimer. That stormcutter was watching us the hole time hanging from a tree in ropes." I informed.
"They seem like good friends." Hiccup said
"Wouldn't be surprised about it either."
I informed
"I mean they are quite strong and elusive. Why wouldn't they be friends??"
He questioned
"Get some sleep. Tomorrow is dragon training!" I exclaimed
He groaned and turned over as I laid down trying to fall asleep.
