Dad was shocked at himself before they took in the imperious and toothless as the ships were readied and it was a couple 20 so they put these wooden circle like chains around our dragons necks and since imperious was laying down head flat to the wood he seems to be agitated by it and toothless was angry before they were raised as me and hiccup looked down in sadness and our dragons roared in distress and anger
"Set sail! We head for helheim's gate."
Dad shouted
He looked at us and hiccup before turning around and whisper something to toothless and imperious before the ships were gone and astrid appeared behind us and watched.
"It's a mess." Astrid said breaking the silence
"You two must feel horrible. You've both lost everything. Your father, your tribe, both your best friends." Astrid finished
"Thank you for summing that up." Hiccup said
"Motivating." I added
"Why couldn't I have killed that dragon when I found him in the woods?" Hiccup questioned
"I've been asking that myself too." I admitted
"Would've been better for everyone."
He finished
"Yep. The rest of us would've done it."
Astrid said.

"So why didn't you?" Astrid asked
Hiccup and I stated silent
"Why didn't you?" Astrid pestered
"I don't know." Hiccup said
"I couldn't." I added
"That's not an answer." Astrid said
"Why is this so important to you all of a sudden?" Hiccup asked
"Because I want to remember what you two say right now." Astrid stated
"Oh for the love of..." I trailed off
"I was a coward. I was weak. I wouldn't kill a dragon." Hiccup admitted
"You said wouldn't that time hiccup."
Astrid said
"Whatever! I wouldn't!" Hiccup said
"Three hundred years, and we're the first Vikings who wouldn't kill a dragon." I stated
"First to ride them, though." Astrid said
I just stared as hiccup didn't reply
"So?..." astrid asked
"I wouldn't kill him because he looked as frightened as I was. I looked at him and I saw myself." Hiccup explained
"I couldn't kill imperious for the same reason." I added
"I bet they're really frightened now. What are you two going to do about it?" Astrid said
"Eh, probably something stupid."
Hiccup shrugged
"Probably." I added
"Good, but you've already done that."
Astrid informed
"Then something crazy." Hiccup said
"Really. Really crazy." I stated
We ran back to berk as Astrid ran after us.

{ third person's point of view }

The ships went into the fog
"Sound your positions. Stay within earshot." Stoick ordered
"Here!" A man said
"One length to your stern." Another informed
"Stoick, I was overheating some of the men just now, and, well, some of them are wondering what it is we're up to here. Not me, of course. I know you're always the man with the plan. But some, not me, are wondering if there is, in fact, a plan at all. And what it might be." Gobber lied.
"Find the nest and take it." Stoick answered
"Of course. Send them running. The old viking fallback, nice and simple." Gobber stated
Stoick turned as toothless gurgled and imperious looked up but failed because his head was pinned down
"Shh, shh!" Stoick exclaimed
Toothless's ear bud twitched and imperious seemed to have tuned in to the sounds as Stoick pushed through the Vikings
"Step aside." Stoick said.
Toothless's head raised quickly and looked over to the right side as imperious turned his eyes towards sheers toothless was looking and stoick steered that way
"Bear to port." A man said.

{ Y/N's point of view }

"If you're planning on getting eaten. I'd definitely go with the gronckle." Fishlegs said
"You were wise to seek help from the worlds deadliest weapon." Tuffnut stated
"Uh..." I said
"It's me." Tuffnut finished
"I love this plan." Snotlout said
"I didn't..." hiccup trailed off
"You're crazy. I like that."
Ruffnut said romantically.
Astrid pushed ruffnut away by the helmet as astrid stepped forward
"So, what's the plan?" Astrid genuinely asked
Hiccup smiled as I put my hands on my hips before turning to the cage that was behind us as Fishlegs squealed in excitement and ruffnut looked over.

{ third person's point of view }

The boats were going towards the nest and saw a boat that was crashed
"That's not really encouraging." A Viking said
"Oh. I was wondering where that went." Gobber admitted
They pulled through as Imperious's chains rattled and toothless turned his head and sniffed as Stoick turned the boat and something banged in the fog.
"Stay low! And ready your weapons!"
Stoick stated
The boat docked as toothless tried to break free and stoick went forward while hearing animals
"We're here." Stoick said
The noises stopped as Stoick looked around trying to see a dragon.

Hiccup brought out a monstrous nightmare as snotlout grabbed a spear but put it done quickly as the monstrous nightmare was brought to Snotlout
"Wait! What are you...?" Snotlout exclaimed
"Shh! Relax." Hiccup said
"It's all good." I reassured
"It's ok. It's ok." Hiccup said
Snotlout stretched his arm out as hiccup removed his hand and snotlout immediately stopped tensing and the monstrous nightmare let out a low purr as snotlout smiled and hiccup walked away.
"Where are you going?" Snotlout asked
"You're gonna need something to help you hold on." Hiccup stated
I then grabbed a rope and passed it too him and when I turned the zippleback, deadly nadder and gronckle were there as everyone excited
"Can we name them?!" Fishlegs asked
"Sure, sure." Hiccup said
"This plans going well." I stated
"Heh. It could go all wrong once we get there. Don't get your hopes up." Hiccup said.
Astrid put and hand on her hip as me and hiccup guided everyone to the dragons they'd be riding into the battle with and the deadly nadder seemed to be quite alert while the gronckle was relaxed and the zippleback was, well, confused about their surroundings.
