Monstrous nightmare.

The crowd in berk was chanting a selective order of our names
"Well, I can show my face in public again!" Dad said as the crowd laughed
"If someone had told me that in a few short weeks hiccup and Y/N would go from, well, being, uh, hiccup and Y/N to placing first in dragon training. I'd have tied him to a mast and shipped him off for fear he'd gone mad! And you know it!" Dad shouted
The crowd laughed and cheered
"That's motivating." Hiccup said sarcastically
"Yeah." I stated
"But here we are. And no one is more surprised or more proud than I am."
Dad finished
Hiccup and I held the Viking hat while looking at dad in a sad matter
"Today, my children become Vikings. Today, they become one of us!" Dad stated
The crowd cheered and astrid showed up behind us
"Be careful with that dragon you two."
She said
"It's not the dragon we're worried about." Hiccup stated
"What are you gonna do?" Astrid asked
"Put an end to this. We have to try." I said
"Astrid, if something goes wrong, just make sure they don't find toothless or Imperious." Hiccup said sadly.

"I will. Just promise me it won't go wrong." Astrid said
"It's time you two, knock 'em dead."
Gobber stated
Hiccup and I walked into the arena as the crowd above chanted as hiccup and I put on the Viking hat worriedly
"Yeah! Show 'em how it's done"
Fishlegs and snotlout said
We were in the middle of the arena as hiccup chose a shield and I did so too before he grabbed a knife
"I'll just take one too!..." I whispered
I grabbed a knife while overhearing dad say
"Hmm, I'd have gone for the hammer."
Dad informed
Hiccup took a deep breath as i exhaled and the monstrous nightmare went out of its cage in flames as the crowd shrieked and gasped And the monstrous nightmare blasted through the cage while climbing on it before it saw me and hiccup
"Go on! Give it to him!" A Viking said
Hiccup dropped the knife and reassured the monstrous nightmare that he was okay
"Stop the fight!" Dad shouted
"I need you all to see this." Hiccup said
"I said. Stop the fight!" Dad yelled
He bashed the cage with a hammer as my hand shuffled back and the monstrous nightmare blasted at us.

We ran as astrid grabbed an axe and got into the arena ready to attack and the monstrous nightmare came for us and blasted so we couldn't get out and it then had hiccup pinned as we heard snarling and growling from above as people yelled and when I looked over toothless and Imperious broke into the ring and were attacking the dragon as smoke covered us and toothless was on top of the monstrous nightmare and imperious was hopping from wall to wall and eventually clung onto it bringing it down it quickly. The monstrous nightmare roared as toothless and imperious challenged it while backing up as imperious crouched down to the monstrous nightmare's level and roared defensively
"Night fury. Stormcutter." Gobber said
As toothless and imperious made the dragon back up and run off
"All right, toothless, go. Get out of here." Hiccup said trying to push him
"Imperious get away!" I exclaimed
Imperious looked over as Spitelout charged into the ring and many Vikings did
"Stoick!" Astrid yelled
"Dad, they won't hurt you!" Hiccup said
Toothless growled and imperious snarled before running over and pinning down dad.

imperious and toothless got ready to fire but stopped at the sound of us telling them not to
And then Spitelout pinned toothless and many other dragons did but before imperious could react he was pinned down
"Don't hurt him!" Hiccup said
"Imperious!" I shouted
Toothless tried to open his mouth but it was covered as imperious tried to fly but his Im wings were held down
"Put it with the others." Dad said walking over.
Hiccup and I were thrown into the great hall and the doors shut
"I should have known. I should have seen the signs." Dad stated
"Dad!" Hiccup exclaimed
"We had a deal!" Dad shouted
"I know we did. That was before. It's all so messed up." Hiccup stated
"Imperious and toothless's life will be on your head." I said.
"So everything in the ring, a trick? A lie?"
Dad asked
"We screwed up. We should have told you before now. I just..." hiccup said
"Take this out on us, be mad at us." I stated
"But please! Just don't hurt them!"
Hiccup pleaded
"The dragon? That's what you're worried about? Not the people you two almost killed?" Dad asked
"They were protecting us! They aren't dangerous!" Hiccup shouted
"They've killed hundreds of us!" Dad said
"And we've killed thousands of them dad!"
I stated
"They defend themselves, that's all! They raid us because they have to."
Hiccup said
"If they don't bring enough food back, they're eaten themselves." Hiccup said
"There's something else on their island. It's a dragon like..." I was cut off
"Their island? So you've been to the nest?"
Dad asked
"Did they say nest?" Hiccup asked
"How did you find it?" Dad asked
"What? No, We didn't. Toothless did."
Hiccup stated
"Imperious and I followed." I said
"Only a dragon can find the island."
Hiccup said
Dad's face looked like it had a moment of realization
"No, no, no. No, dad. No, please, it's not what you think." Hiccup stated
"You don't know what you're up against. It's like nothing you've seen. Dad, please!"
Hiccup said
"you can't win this one!" I exclaimed
"No, dad. No. For once in your life, would you please just listen to us?!" Hiccup pleaded
Hiccup was thrown back by dad as he turned around obviously angry
"You two have thrown your lot into them. You're not a Viking. You're not my children." Dad finished before walking out quickly.
