Carlos gripped his helmet as he flicked his visor to cover his face, looking around at the English crowd who cheered for Lewis, George and Lando. Looking around for Charles, he spotted people in the grandstands with fake guns. Surely that wasn't allowed in England, he rushed over to tell security but once he reached them the gun fired and a bullet pierced through someone's chest. His eyes widened and he ran to the paddock, grabbing anyone he saw on the way and heading to the Haas garage as it was furthest away. So far, he, Lando, Max, Daniel and Charles were safe but he had no clue where the others were... all he could do was pray that they were safe. The Haas mechanics and engineers locked the garage so nobody could enter. Lando frowned and flicked up Carlos' visor, noticing the man's tears and looking towards the others who seemed just as worried and confused as he was.
"S-Someone had a gun and there... was gas bombs and... and..." Carlos took quick, hollow breaths, getting himself into a mess. Lando glanced at Max who seemed worried but didn't show any emotion towards the situation. Daniel pulled Carlos into a hug and tried his best to calm the man down so that he could explain. There was fists pounding on the garage.
"Don't open it..." Lando whispered as he went to peer out without being able to be seen or caught. When he peered out he was met with a horrific sight.... a woman with blood smeered all over her ripped clothes, stab wounds smothering her and a bullet jammed tightly in her head. He was so close to letting her in but saw the flesh dripping out of her mouth and her deep yellow eyes that rolled back. Lando felt as if he was about to be sick and stumbled back, pale as ever. "That's a zombie... how..." He murmured, falling back but being caught by Max and an engineer named Callum. He felt like passing out there and then, why about the other drivers?! There would be tens of thousands of zombies out there if the entire crowd had been infected. Luckily, in the garage, tools could be used as weapons. Charles fiddled with his fingers, taking off his gloves and patting Carlos on the back.
"Well we can't just rot here, mate. We have to go somewhere," The monegasque spoke up, looking around at the four drivers and 6 Haas workers that were in the garage, "Who will stay and who wants to come with me?" Charles asked, grabbing a crowbar which had just been randomly there despite the team not using it.
"I am." Max said, grabbing a wrench as if it could do more damage then the crowbar.
"I am too." Lando and Carlos said in sync, their voices still shaking. Charles let a small smile sit on his face as his friends all decided to come with him, even Daniel. Only two of the Haas members had decided to come too. The other four had decided they would rather die peacefully and get to see their families in Heaven. Danny (Daniel) had tested up at their speeches and wished them all goodluck. The two who had decided they would rather fight to survive were Callum, the engineer from earlier, and Vivian, who was a beautiful young mechanic. She was Callum's girlfriend so it was no surprise they had decided to go together.
"I have a lighter, but I think if we sneak into another garage there will be more crowbars or wrenches. We can look for others whilst we are there too! We have to be careful not to make any noise thought... I read that they're noise sensitive." Daniel ranted, he enjoyed reading zombie apocalypse survival guides since he used to play games like that.
"Okay!" They all spoke in unison, bidding the four who had decided to stay goodbye and goodluck before they prepared to be met with zombies who used to be innocent fans of theirs... it would be a difficult task...
