'So, now that you're back to being human, could you tell me how it felt seeing me again after 9 years?' Edward asked.
'Honestly? You know that noise the sink makes when it removes the water? Well, basically it felt like that.' You replied.
'Well, I hope you're feeling better now. I mean, you are lying right on top of me.' Edward said, laughing.
'Only because I've gotten used to your stupidly handsome face again.'
'Stupidly handsome face, eh?'
'Be quiet.' You mumbled. 'Toppling an evil regime of vampires, followed by one dull day in a car will do that to you; you get your perceptions all mixed up.'
'Sure, (Y/N). Whatever you say.' Edward replied.
You didn't respond, to lazy to come up with anything.
For now just watching the sun come up while he pushed the hammock softly with his feet was enough. In fact, it was perfect; but you definitely weren't ready to admit that to Edward yet.
