'I can't do this anymore. I just can't.'

(Name) slumped to the ground, rescinding the water bubble that was suffocating their opponent. Their opponent slumped to the ground as well and they turned their back on them; certain that they were dead.

Unfortunatley your assailant had not died fully and they had enough energy to throw their knife towards your back. Upon seeing this five teleported into the way of the knife, saving your life.

He collapsed with a cry of pain and fell into (Name)'s back. They started forwards and Five fell to the ground with a thump.

'Well thanks for that, (Last Name).'

They raised their hands in annoyance.

'WELL I'M SORRY! I wasn't aware that your injured body was going to fall on top of me.'

Five chuckled.

'What?'

'I always thought I'd die by one of Diego's knives - if I had to die by stabbing, but I guess that's not the case.'

If they could have (Name) would have turned around completely and jumped up in shock. Voice cracking they turned their legs around and faced Five.

'No. No you can't die. I won't let you.'

'(Y/n). I'm literally bleeding out. My teleportation is linked to my energy levels. Even if I wanted to leave this place, I don't have enough energy to teleport away. We're stuck here.'

'Then I'll stay with you, Five.'

'Okay.'

And then they stayed like that. Two small silhouettes situated under the night sky, one bleeding out, the other covered in dust and morally shaken.

Friends 'til death indeed. It was just a shame it happened so soon.
