MOST OF THE night was boring and Gwen didn't receive any notifications from Ashla until it was truly dark. "Gwen, I'm setting a course for a disturbance." Ashla alerted, waking Ghost-Spider from her state of daydreaming. The hero didn't waste a second before shooting her webs in the direction the AI instructed, she didn't know the importance but she was aware that someone needed help regardless.

"Ashla, can you explain the situation?" She asked as she glided around a building, the street she was assessed to investigate came into eyesight.

"A man reported that 'Spider-Man is fighting the avengers in the bank.' I assume it's being robbed." Ashla explained, changing her voice to match that of the man.

Gwen had a brief idea what was happening, so she swung towards the entrance to the bank, witnessing exactly what was claimed. However, her observation was cancelled by a laser beam shooting straight at her. If it wasn't for her spidey-sense, she'd be toast, the same couldn't be said for the deli behind her, now consumed in flames.

"Oh shit." Gwen spoke, slinging her webs and propelling herself towards the deli. She didn't waste a second before running inside. "Call out! Is anybody here!" She yelled above the cackling of the fire.

"Help!" Someone managed to choke out. The blonde made her way to the sound, and found the man she was looking for.

"Is anybody here!" Another voice shouted, Gwen swore that it was familiar, but she didn't have time to think about that now.

"Behind the counter!" She replied as she picked up the man and began carrying him through the flames.

"I'll get the cat." Spider-Man stated while they both avoided the flames and managed to get the two victims to safety. "Mr Delmar! Are you okay." The boy asked.

The man in question began to cough but overall responded with a raised hand to ease the suspense. "What the hell was that thing? I took one night off and I miss out on the most interesting thing to happen in weeks." Questioned Ghost-Spider, with a hint of envy.

"Wow, I haven't seen you since Berlin." The other arachnid hero stated. "Well, I have seen you but we haven't spoken. Anyways, how've you been?"

"Focus web-head." Gwen scolded. "Was there a reason why the discount avengers were robbing a bank, and why they had stronger weapons than the freaking Jedi?"

"Okay, first, we gotta get out of here before they blame me again. Second, lightsabers are awesome, never compare them to whatever that thing was. Third..." He began to list, his voice was quick and he barely left enough time to breath. "Actually, there wasn't a third thing." He realised.

"What? You can't tell me a lightsaber would deflect a blast like that. I admit they're pretty cool but they couldn't defeat that, not without a strategic Jedi." Gwen argued, clearly distracted by Spider-Man's theory, she should've never brought Star Wars into the equation.

"Police, identify yourselves!" An officer said through a speaker, alerting both the teens of their mistake.

"Oops." Gwen muttered. "We gonna run?"

"Pretty much."

And just like that, both the Spider heroes ran from the police, just like the days before Stark issued their protection. Given that people had their phones aimed to the sky, it wasn't looking good for the conspiracy hating students, each of them knew this would likely end up on YouTube, and even more likely to be on the daily bugle, staring James Jonah Jamerson.

"Happy, the craziest thing just happened to me. These guys were robbing an ATM with these high tech weapons-" Spider-Man began shouting into his phone, pausing for a moment for response. "Yeah, but-.... Wait you're moving? Whose moving?" He asked. "Well, what about me? Well, what if Mr Stark needs me or something big goes down? Can I please just talk to Mr Stark?" And with that, the man on the other end of the phone hung up.

"You get distracted way too easily." Gwen stated, knowing that she was similar in that department. "Anyways, I get the drift. Bad guys have weapons and are committing crimes." She summed up.

"Well, what do you think we should do?" Spidey asked.

"Hm, those guys were robbing an ATM, so they must've been short on cash. They obviously weren't the brightest buttons so I'm guessing they bought the weapons. And if that's the case, then we need to bring down the boss, and beat the game." Gwen suggested.

"Right now?" The boy asked.

"Well, no, we're currently being hunted down by the police." Ghost-Spider stated the obvious. "And I've gotta get home before my family murder me." She added after checking the time.

"I'll see you later then." Spidey waved.

"See ya around." She saluted and swung back to where she'd left her school bag. Unlike Peter, who decided it was a brilliant idea to hide his behind a dumpster, Gwen placed hers on the roof a building, making it practically impossible to steal. When it came to practical thinking, Gwen was smarter, but whenever science was involved, Peter managed to get the edge.
