When the team arrived back at midtown tech, a swarm of worried parents and families awaited them, for Gwen, it was her mom, dad, and all three of her brothers, for Peter, it was his aunt May. Gwen sighed as she walked into a family hug, it was sort of embarrassing, but she knew they were scared for her safety nonetheless. Before she called them, they all thought she was on that elevator.
"Are you ok Gwen?" Helen asked her.
"I'm fine, I wasn't on the elevator." She informed.
"No, but you were still right next to that damn tower, what if something had fallen on you?" George asked.
"Dad, I'm okay. There isn't a scratch on me." She assured. "All thanks to Ghost-Spider, and Spider-Man." She added. "They're good people, they saved my friends."
"It's a good thing I made you watch those disaster documentaries, otherwise, you wouldn't have been too afraid to go up the tower." The chief joked.
"No dad, that was traumatising." She laughed along.

After an excruciatingly long weekend of family calls and crime fighting, it was time to return back to school. However, when Gwen walked through the main doors, she was met with astonishment. Her alter ego had symbols on the walls, Ghost-Spider's face littered every display, along with Spider-Man. Was this the praise she'd long deserved?
Just then, she saw Peter and stood next to him by one of the tv's broadcasting the event. "Up next, the spidermania is sweeping the school. How can you show your spider spirit?" Jason spoke.
"Well, it's a good job those two were there." Gwen startled him.
"Gwen." He turned around and regained composure. "Yeah, you're right."
"Of course I am." Gwen stated. "See ya Parker." She fled towards Gloria, who was eagerly waiting to hug her friend.
"You're alive!" She gasped.
"Dude, I was texting you all weekend." The vigilante reasoned.
"Yeah, but it's hard to distinguish your messages from a robot. For all I knew, you could've made one final demand on your deathbed." Gloria exaggerated.
"Ouch." Gwen gasped.
"Anyways, have you seen what's going on around here? All the guys are obsessed with Ghost-Spider, how the hell are we supposed to get homecoming dates if they're all crushing on some superpowered bimbo." Gloria explained.
