The interrogation was going far from well, considering that Gwen burst into laughter whenever either of them spoke. It was a major setback, but it was worth it. She didn't like to admit it, but Gwen enjoyed the fact she'd discovered Peter's identity, mainly because now, she was able to bond with Spider-Man. Gwen knew what Peter liked, he wasn't as secretive as Spider-Man tried to be, and he certainly wasn't as confident, but Gwen enjoyed his ego boost, it was amusing at times.

"Remember me?!" Peter asked Aaron after webbing him to his own car.

"I, uh, hey?"

"We need information. You'll give it to me now." He said again, the voice modification making him sound deeper and more robotic.

"All right, chill." Aaron reasoned.

"Now!" Gwen commanded, her voice sounding similar.

"What happened to your voices?" The criminal asked calmly.

"What do you mean?"

"This is my usual voice." Gwen argued, looking and sounding as ridiculous as Spider-Man.

"I heard you by the bridge, I know what little girls sound like."

"I'm not a girl, I'm a boy!" Spider-Man countered before quickly correcting himself. "I mean, I'm a, I'm a man." Gwen didn't bother arguing, because he was right about her, however, she did spill a few laughs, which she deeply tried to disguise as coughs.

"I don't care what you are, a boy, a girl ——" Aaron added.

"I'm not a girl, I'm a man!" Peter yelled.

"Truth is, I'm not a guy." Gwen began, sounding sad yet mysterious. "I'm Batman." She said, using her voice modification and using her arm to act as a cloak.

"Stop! You're making us look stupid!" Peter scolded, to which Gwen only laughed more.

"Ok Spider-Girl, I won't add any more childish comments." Said Gwen, turning her interrogation mode off. "Ashla. Stop interrogation mode." She ordered. "Look, who's selling this stuff, got any names?" She asked.

"Give me them, or else!" The other webslinger added, not faltering from the deeper voice. However, Aaron was sick of it. He slammed his car boot, making the boy jump back in fright and Gwen to quirk a brow in confusion.

"You ain't ever done this before, huh?" Aaron asked the two.

"How'd you tell?" Gwen said, her tone laced with sarcasm.

"Deactivate interrogation mode." Spidey said, allowing his voice to return to normal. "Look man, these guys are selling weapons that are crazy dangerous." Peter stated.

"They can't just be out on the streets, people are gonna get hurt. Not just adults, but kids too." Gwen added.

"If one of them can cut Delmar's Bodega in half, imagine——" Peter continued before being cut off by Aaron.

"You know Delmar's?"

"Yeah, best sandwich in Queens." Peter replied.

"Sub Haven's pretty good." Aaron argued.

"Forget that, my mom makes a wicked sandwich. You should come over some time." Ghost-Spider suggested, but as far as Peter knew, it was only a joke.

"Come on, man, please." The boy begged after the topic began to fade. "Stupid interrogation mode. Karen don't ever do that again." Spider-Man began to walk away, leaving Aaron with Gwen for a short while.

"Dude, cmon. Even criminals care about their family, right?" She asked him, already knowing the answer.

Aaron sighed before finally speaking again. "I don't want those weapons in this neighbourhood. I got a nephew who live here." He said, encouraging Peter to walk back to the duo.

"Who are these guys, what can you tell me about the guy with wings."

"Other than he's a psychopath dressed like a demon, nothing." Aaron answered.

"I feel like he's the leader, mainly because he's the one with that dope vulture suit and the others only have weird guns." Gwen stated, displaying her limited knowledge on the matter. "You know any locations?"

"Well, I do know where he's gonna be." The criminal answered.

"Really?" Peter asked in disbelief.

"Yeah, this crazy dude I used to work with he's, he's supposed to be doing a deal with him." Aaron added.

"Yes! Yes!" Peter cheered. It only added to Gwen's confusion when he began to leave the building.

"Um, webhead?" She called out.

"You don't have a location." Aaron stated, unamused by his naivety.

"Oh, silly me." Peter skipped back towards the vehicle, soon resting himself on to car, awaiting an answer. "Yeah, where is it?"

"Can I give you some advice?" Aaron offered, causing Spidey to tilt his head in anticipation. "You gotta get better at this part of the job."

"I don't understand, I'm intimidating." Peter argued, crossing his arms.

"You're about as intimidating as the Lion from Wizard Of Oz." Gwen interjected, rightfully so.

"Hey." Peter scolded.

"Truth hurts." The girl retorted, but before the Spider-duo could form another petty argument, the criminal interrupted.

"Staten Island Ferry." He informed. "11."

"Oh that's soon." Peter checked his watched before grabbing Gwen's arm and dragging her away. "Hey, that's gonna dissolve in 2 hours."

"No, no, no. Come fix this." Aaron ordered, ultimately knowing that the two teenagers weren't going to help him.

"Just 2 hours, sit tight." Ghost-Spider added.

"You deserve that." Peter continued.

"I've got ice cream in here..."

"You deserve that, you're a criminal. Bye Mr Criminal!" He waved and shot his webs, Gwen following suit and landing with him on a rooftop near the ferry. Now all they had to do was wait. However, Gwen had other things on her mind, if her dad found out she was cutting school, she would be dead. She was already in enough trouble as it was.

"Spidey, I'm sorry but I think I should head back." She lay down the bad news.

"What? But the ferry's about to leave. Don't you want to catch these guys?" He rushed his reasons.

"I know, I know. But if my parents find out I've been cutting school, they'll kill me. No more homecoming. No more..." She wanted to say band, but drew the line when she realised her identity was in danger. "Look I've probably gotten away with missing half an hour, but I can't get on that ferry, who knows what time it'll get back?"

"2:45, pm." Ashla informed.

"Thanks for that Ashla." Gwen rolled her eyes. "The point is, I've finally found away to balance this and my normal life, I can't lose it."

"But, we have a chance to catch these guys and then everything will go back to normal. Trust me, together, we've got this." The boy convinced.

"I'm sorry, but you were planning to do this on your own anyways, I just tagged along." The blonde apologised and attached her webs onto a separate building. "I'll see ya around Webhead." She jumped and began her journey back to school.

"It's fine, everything's fine." Peter tried to hype himself. "You've got this Peter, you don't need her."
