**Eddie's POV** 1.6k words
—next morning—It was a typical day at the shop, I really enjoyed my job. At first it was a bit difficult trying to unlearn all the things my dad taught me about cars but after a while I seemed to get the hang of it. I almost got fired my first week because I suggested hot wiring a car that wouldn't start despite all our efforts, but to my luck Tom said he saw potential in me so he kept me around. I had my own station, I would work on 7-8 cars per day and I was making decent money.
"Next one's Ed's! Special request." Tom shouted over the garage door opening.
"Special request?" I mumbled tossing my dirty rag over my shoulder. A tinted black Mercedes creeped slowly into my station. I stood in the middle gesturing my hands on where the car can park. The car came to a jerky stop, maybe it's the breaks I thought to myself.
"Damn." I said walking around the car, what else could be wrong with it? I did a quick check for the wheels, that was good, maybe it was an interior issue. Admiring the paint job I shot up when I heard the front door open and shut.
"What are you-Oh." I sighed as Chrissy walked out of the car. A sly smile spread across her face...she was dressed in a tight black dress, she looks like she had just gotten done getting ready her hair was done and her makeup looked fresh.
"Can you fix my car?" Her voice rang against my ears. I stood there crossing my arms, I couldn't resisted so I rolled my eyes to the side.
"What's wrong with it." I was short with my tone."Hmm. I don't know!" Her tone on the other hand was sarcastic. She leaned over the hood, pushing her hips out she looked back at me, her red heels kicked up in the air. "Maybe something under-"
"Stop." I snapped. "Why did you come here- so I can run your daddy up a nice bill?-No thanks." I scoffed walking out of the garage.
"Eddie!" She shouted running up to me."No." I repeated myself, I walked over to the next station. "Josh? Can you take this one? It's my lunch break."
"Yeah sure man-" he replied getting out of his seat.
"No." She shouted pulling my hand back.
"I want you-" her blue eyes batted under her thick black lashes."Chrissy." I grew annoyed looking at her, I jerked my hand away from her and looked at her in disgust.
"I don't know what you're trying to do but I don't want anything to do with you." I scoffed."Eddie-" She whimpered titling her head to the side.
"No. Leave me alone." I snapped walking away from her.I pressed my hand against my pocket that hung above my thigh, making sure my keys were in there.
Why would she show up here? I haven't talked to her since I broke things off with her over a year ago. I haven't stopped thinking about the trip to the grocery store. I felt guilty keeping the secret from Jade for so long, I felt even worse on how she figured everything out. I've changed since then, I knew I wanted to be with Jade. I wanted to be the man she deserves."Eddie!" I heard Chrissy shout following me.
"You're really telling me Jade is better than me?" She shouted across the parking lot, stopping me in my tracks."Yes." I shouted turning back. "One hundred percent."
I looked away to the side as she ran up to me, the sound of her heels clicking against the road irked my ears. She stood in front of me as her fingers danced up the arm of my uniform.
"Does she touch you the way I do..." She asked softly."Better." I snapped taking a step back.
"Does she sound the way I do screaming your name.."
"Eddie-"
"Oh Eddie-" she began to fake moan in the parking lot, throwing her head back and closing her eyes.
