Thirty-seventh

Normal POV

Everyone got alarmed at the two minion's news. The mates did their best to save the left minion since the other one died.

"We have to divide into two, one group will go back to EXO Planet and the other group will stay here to protect the mates and the house if ever some of them tracked us." Kris said and the other nodded.
"Kyungsoo will join us to EXO Planet, Sehun and Chanyeol will stay here with the mates." Kris cotinued.
"What?! Kyungsoo won't come with us! It's too dangerous!" Kai growled.
"Calm down Jongin. It'll be fine. Besides, we've been training for this right?" Kyungsoo said, he know's he's not yet ready but they have to be for everyone.
"But Soo-" Kai stopped when Kyungsoo gave him a smile. "Fine." He gave up.
"Now get ready and we'll be off in 5 minutes." Kris stood up dragging Tao with him.

Everyone go to their rooms to get ready. They're all tensed up because of what might happen.

"Can you promise me you'll be fine?" Xiumin said.
"Umin hyung, don't worry too much or you'll get wrinkles." Chen chuckled.
"Aish! Just promise me!" Xiumin stomped his feet.
"Of course, I promise." Then Chen kissed his mate's lips.

"Is that all you're gonna bring?" Lay asked Suho.
"Yes." Suho answered zipping his bag.
"You sure you didn't forget something?" Lay asked again.
"Yes." Suho answered wearing his gear.
"You really sure?" Lay pursed his lips.
"Yup." Suho answered putting on his boots.
"Hmm... you don't wanna bring me?" Lay asked in his super serious tone. This made Suho look at him.
"Lay."
"I'm sorry. I'm just worried." Lay lowered his head.
"Shh. I'll be fine." Then Suho kissed Lay.

"Kris ge."
"Gege!"
"Hey ge."
"Kris gege!"
"Aish! Why are you not looking at me? You dragged me here but I'm like invisible here! Talk to me! Look at me." Tao snapped but still no response from Kris.

Tao lowered his head, he started to stiffle a sob. He's really dead worried but his lover's not even minding to look at him before leaving. Kris still not doing anything, he held the door ready go out but stopped.

"I don't wanna look at you because it may hold me back from going back to our planet. Don't worry too much jagi, I'll be back." Kris said Tao stopped crying at his words.

Kris was about to go out but a hand covered his eyes.

"Take care, ok?" Tao said before turning him around hand still blocking his sight and kissed him.

"Just stay calm Kyungsoo, ok? When we get there don't leave my side, just stick with me. Don't panick. If we're attacked the time we landed just say if you need help. Just stay calm and compose so you'll be concentrated." Kai said but Kyungsoo laughed.
"Hey! Why are you laughing?" Kai pouted.
"Duh! You're telling me to be calm but you're the one here whose walking back and forth, hand shaking and voice slightly trembling. It's gonna be fine Jongin. You're there with me. The others are also there. We'll help each other." Kyungsoo said.

Jongin sighed then smiled. He hugged Kyungsoo. The smaller smiled also, the hug makes the both of them feel calm.

"I really hope they'll be fine." Baekhyun said.
"I'm sure they will. They're strong." Chanyeol ruffled Baekhyun's hair.
"Oh God, please let them be safe." Baek murmured and Chanyeol smiled.
"Now we have to still train. I know you badly wanted to help. Sehun said he wants to be the front offense, we'll back him up." Chanyeol said.
"Ok." Baek smiled and Chanyeol pecked his lips.

"I felt really useless." Luhan blurted out.
"Don't be hyung. Let's trust them with this." Sehun hugged his hyung.
"Sehunnie, I promise I'll do my best to help you fight if ever the enemy finds us." Luhan said.
"Thanks for that. Your love is my greatest weapon. Always remember that." Then Sehun kissed his lover.

They all (except Xiumin, Tao and Lay) go down to the living room after their moments. Kai, Kyungsoo, Kris, Chen and Suho hold hands and Kai teleported them off.

They arrived at the EXO Planet but Kai almost fainted when he saw an unconcious Kyungsoo.

"Maybe he's not used to that kind of super long distance teleportation." Chen said and Kai calmed down a bit.
"It's been a while." Suho said.
"Yes, and it's so different. Matos really are increasing their number in here." Kris said.

The alphas transformed into their wolf form. They can only transform in EXO Planet. They can also in Earth but Mikun cast a spell on them to not be able to do it. Kai placed Kyungsoo on his back then they all went to the tree of life using their powers to get there quicker.

"Mikun eomma?" Suho called out.
"Here." They heard Mikun's weak voice.
"Eomma! Are you ok?" Chen helped Mikun to stand. She's slumped at the river side.
"What happened here? The water's black. The leaves on the tree of life are falling." Suho asked.
"I'm fine. The Matos did this. They put something in the river. The water is now poisoned and it affects the tree of life. I was away to visit your packs when they did this. My minions are captured and who knows what're they doing to them by now. The creatures have been able to hide, they're still safe. I'm really worried about my minions. My babies." Mikun cried.
"That Matos! They're really evil." Kris said in anger.
"I was about to go to you but you're already here. What brought you here?" Mikun asked when she calmed down.
"How come you don't know?" Suho asked really confused. Usually Mikun knows every reason. She can even read minds.
"The tree of life is poisoned. I can't use all of my ability right now. The tree of life is my life." Mikun said and they gasped. This means that if the tree of life died, Mikun will die too.
"Eomma. Don't worry, we'll save you, the tree of life and the whole planet." Suho said.
"I'm sorry to make you worry too much. You still have to awaken your mates." Mikun said.
"It's fine eomma. We have a good news for you also. Baekhyun's now also awaken and two of your minions informed us about this, that's why we came but one of them died, that's the bad news tho." Chen said.
"Oh my, my baby." Mikun cried again.

They comforted Mikun and she stopped crying. Mikun may be one of the strongest in the planet but she's still the mother of all creature in it that's why she still breaks down when one of her child is hurt.

"Hey Kai, are you still alive there?" Suho asked Kai who's just sitting there with gloominess, Kyungsoo in his arms.
"What happened to Kyungsoo?" Mikun asked when she finally saw the KaiSoo.
"He became unconcious when we teleported. He's not used to it." Kai answered.
"I see. The water won't help right now, you better be back to Earth immediately. I'm sorry I can't do anything than just have him a comfortable bed." Mikun said sadly.
"It's ok eomma." Kai said.
"Kai, go back with Kyungsoo first, we'll hunt some of them down around the tree of life to make sure of eomma's safety. We'll contact you when we'll go back to Earth. Maybe after 3 days." Kris said.

Kai nodded and they teleported back to Earth after he's charged enough with power.
