Normal POV

Suho and Lay bowed to the doctor before leaving the room.

"/sigh/ I hope things will get back to normal." Suho said.
"It will hyung." Lay assured him patting his shoulder.

They both stopped at their tracks when they saw Baek and Yeol hugging each other.

Looks like Chanyeol already got his mate's heart. Suho thought as he looked at the couple.

"W-we shouldn't disturb them." Suho said as he walked ahead and Lay followed him.

The two of them got out of the building and saw Kris and Tao walking holding their hands together.

And Kris got his mate, too. Suho thought.

"You know hyung, my mother has been hospitalized in China for years now, I really miss her a lot." Lay opened up.
"Why don't go and see her then? I can accompany you." Suho offered.
"It's fine hyung. I just have to keep my promise to her." Lay said smiling at his hyung.
"What a good son you are." Suho said chuckling.
"Hmm. Not really. I promised her I share her sufferings with me so I'll be selfless. I'll do everything to make others happy and forget mine." Lay said.
"Yixing-ah you really do love your mom, huh? But the please don't forget to give yourself happiness." Suho said and Lay just ruffled his hair.
"Hyung." Lay called after some silence but Suho's spacing out.
"Is it Kris hyung? Or maybe Tao? Or is it Baek? Or Chanyeol? Tell me." Lay suddenly said.
"What? What are you saying Yixing-ah." Suho asked confused.
"You're thinking of one of them. You seem so jealous a while ago. Which of the four of them? Which of them do you like?" Lay asked looking directly at Suho.

Suho's shock about Lay's sudden questions but then he answered "None of them."
"Then why are you looking at them like you're jealous?" Lay asked again blushing lightly for some reason.
"Let's go inside, you're getting cold. You're blushing." Suho said not assuming it's because of him.
"No. Answer me hyung." Lay said stubbornly.
"Aish. I'm not jealous of them, well... maybe yes but that's because they already got their mate- I mean boyfriends and here I am still not having a chance to confess." Suho said.
"Who's she or he?" Lay asked again.
"E-eh? Wh-wha- Yixing-ah. I-it's uhh-"
"Please tell me." Lay cut his stuttering making Suho look at his eyes and he saw something that made him say "You."
"M-me?" Lay asked in a total shock and Suho nodded shyly.

Lay just stared for a moment then he kissed Suho's handsome forehead.

"I love you, too." Lay said.
"Really?!" Suho exclaimed shock and happiness mixing in his voice.
"Yeah." Lay said.
"It isn't out of pity, right? I know you're not feeling well with this because as you said earlier you wanted to share your mother's sufferings with you so you'll do everything for other's happiness. I know you're a good person so you might just want to help me not to be sad anymore so you said you- mmp." Suho was cut off when Lay put his hand on his mouth and smiled. (You thought it was a kiss? Lol.)
"I really do love you hyung. I've always wanted to confess but... I'm thinking of my promise to my mom but now I think it's not good to be selfless anymore, it'll hurt mom more if I'm not happy and I always forgot what am I gonna say first so yeah." Lay said scratching the back of his neck blushing.
"I've always wanted to confess too but I can't get the right time." Then Suho chuckled remembering his first attempt.
"So all along we're in love with each other?" Lay said then laughed and Suho laughed with him.
"Then that made us a couple right?" Suho asked.
"Yes. But there's something we forgot." Lay said.
"What is it?" Suho asked.
"Uhh. What's that again? Aish! I forgot." Lay said thinking hard.
"Maybe it's this." Then Suho pulled Lay to him and kissed him on the lips.

After a minute, they broke the kiss. "Yeah, I think that's it." Lay said.
"Let's go in now." Suho said as he walked ahead of Lay so he won't see his eyes glowing light red.
